I preordered this game because I loved Shadow of Mordor. This is a fast paced game with alot of action and a bit of RPG. So far, I haven't needed to purchase any microtransaction and I do not see needing any in the future.

Not to dwell on the micro transactions (this game is 100% playable totally avoiding them), it is perfect. The gameplay loop of the nemesis system is extremely addictive. This game is seriously difficult to put down!

Great game, excellent voice work, amazing combat, and very big. Ignore any comments about the loot chests as they are 100% not required to buy and you earn quite a lot of gold to buy them if you do the daily quests.

I poured many hours into this game. I was doing a lot of the same things over and over, but I did not care because they were so fun. I would highly recommend if you enjoy killing orcs as well as the LOTR mythos.

If you played Shadow of Mordor and liked it then, this is a must purchase! When I first got this game I also downloaded the 4k cinematics for the game as well. The picture and game play is in excellent quality.

Overall it is an improvement on Shadow of Mordor. The improved nemesis system is great and building your own army is great. Highly recommend getting the gold edition with extras and the cool looking steelbook.

A lot of fun and a lot more to do then the previous. There are a lot of side quest and the leveling system is a lot different. The siege aspect is also another great feature. Great game overall.

I played the 1st one and I must've put 60+ hour into it. This game will do the same if not more. Added more depth and fun to the game. No brainier for any Shadow of Mordor fans out there.

A great game that is much bigger than the first. The graphics are amazing and the controls tight and responsive. The new variety in locations and added features make the formula fresh again.

About 12 hours in having not played the first game, and really enjoying this one. Combat is incredible, actually got the first to go back to before I continue this, great series so far!

Shadows of War takes the Lord of the Rings world established from Shadows of Mordor and elevates it to a much larger and grander scale. The game is a must play for adventure game fans.

If you enjoyed the original, you will love the sequel even more. Expands on the original nemesis system in unique ways and really makes you feel like you’re actually building an army.

This is a solid game and will really appeal to people who liked Shadow of Mordor but it isn't perfect. The game is longer than it needs to be which can get repetitive and the loot box situation is not great. It makes you feel like you need to dump more money into the late game.

This game is good. If you liked the original it's more of the same with some added rpg elements. The new features can get a little convoluted but overall it's worth it.

Shadow of Mordor is awesome. I am currently playing Shadow of War and it is even better than the first. I can't recommend this game enough if you like the first one.

Shadow of War is a better version of Shadow of Mordor . It adds better powers and better Orc fights. Orcs have new abilities, they can ambush on roof tops unexpectedly making fights more challenging. I'm not really a fan of the movies, but the games are really fun.

Wow this game is amazing. If you are a fan of the first game then you will love this one. The upcoming expansions should make the Gold edition a worthy purchase.

As mentioned in the title, the main character plays alot like Batman from the Arkham series of games, with all the swordplay of the Assassins Creed of old. The story is kind of weird, but it fits into the world of The Lord of the Ring quite well and ends the story practically the only way possible. If you don't have this and Shadow of Mordor, pick them both up.
