As the Dad, I was skeptical of watching this... however, it was just as entertaining for me as it was the kids!

Kids will like the trouble and pranks in this movie.

For when your kids are bored this movie will keep them entertained. Should've been a made for TV flick.

My son wanted to see this movie so I originally rented it. It has been a while since I laughed out loud in a movie. This movie is like Ferris Bueller Day Off and Home Alone rolled into one. My son loved it and I loved it. So we bought it. Excellent funny movie. The drop ins of over exaggerated cartoons definitely added a lot to it.

It's hard to cope, as a preteen, with subjects that totally change your world. A family death, multiple moves and school changes, a jerk for your mom's boyfriend, what's a young man to do? Use his imagination for justice, of course. Our family likes this movie. It's entertaining and touching.

I really liked this movie. I Love how the students get the Principle to break all of his own rules without him even knowing who is really behind all the stunts that are pulled off. If you need a good laugh, watch this movie. I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.

I purchased this without much back-knowledge and only vague remembrance of it in the theaters. But, I was looking for a good "watch with the fam" movie and this was a winner! Kids (aged 16 and 11) both enjoyed it - so this was a great choice! CUTE movie.

My 12 y.o. daughter wanted to see this movie so we saw it as a family. It certainly is not the best movie ever made nor close but it is a reasonable family movie. As an adult, I LOL'd a couple of times. My daughters certainly enjoyed it.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this movie. My son had been wanting it so we got it. There is actually a really good storyline along with the funny things. My son's 3rd grade class voted to watch it & they all loved it too.

The adult characters were, for the most part, pretty cartoony, but the kids were a lot better. I haven't read the books; one development that surprised me a little would probably have been pretty obvious if I had.

Another great movie for kids. My 13 year old grandson loved this movie, although he felt it was not true to the books. In spite of the flaws that he noticed he really liked the movie.

My 11 year old son loves the middle school book series, so when he learned it was being made into a movie, we knew we had to see! Enjoyed movie so much, we decided to purchase for our home collection.

I haven't seen this movie myself but I have 9 and 11 year old boys that love this movie. They've watched this DVD multiple times. It's one of the only movies that they both agree on!

This movie operates on two levels -- there is the fun, goofy pranks of the main character but his behavior is the result of him attempting to cope with the loss of his brother.

If you have a 5th grader you must see this movie. All middle school age children will definitely love this movie. I'm sure most of them have read the books.

Very cute movie! Has a meaningful storyline, not just about pranks & having fun. My son loved the movie & so did his entire 3rd grade class and teacher.

I thought this was going to be a snooze fest, because I got it for my nephew and I was wrong not a bad movie funny and creative worth watching.

I liked this movie, but it follows the cliche Diary of a Wimpy Kid model. It is more for kids, and my kids loves it, otherwise I give it a 3

It's a movie, It worked and I did enjoy it. This is the type of movie I like It was funny, the picture quality is very good.

No real story line, forgettable characters, we've all seen similar movies like this one. More of an after school special.
