It works and I was able follow weather reports during a summer and winter storm. I was grateful to have the calm of knowing what was going on. It was my first weather radio.

We purchased this as a bedside emergency radio in case of earthquake or wildfire. Compact, lightweight, rechargeable, and able to power up with a crank in an emergency, and with a flashlight and weather bands - this is a great radio for emergencies. Construction appears solid, and the reception with the extendable antenna is good. The unit is easy to carry. The sound is, well, like a portable radio, but it’s easy to hear. The only downside, and it is a quibble, is that the antenna doesn’t quite fit flush, meaning you have to be a little careful not to catch it on something if you grab it in a hurry. Overall, it works quite well for what we needed, and at a very reasonable price.

This Midland AM/FM/Weather Radio is a replacement for an older weather radio. I like this one much better because it has digital tuning. The sound is very good. It has a user replaceable rechargeable battery. I can charge by electrical outlet, solar, or hand crank. Perfect size for travel, camping, etc. It has a weather alert mode also.

Bought this as part of my emergency communications gear. Good am/fm reception, very good NOAA reception. Compact size for packing with other gear. Radio ran 20 hours on a charge and still had one bar. Takes forever to charge with hand crank or solar panel. Added flashlight nice touch. Charged a cell phone that was at 35% without major drain on the radio battery. If your looking for a compact, solid quality emergency radio at a reasonable price this makes a good purchase.

I like this radio alot. Just the right size. Iv been keeping it charged by setting on a window sill in the sunlight. The speaker sounds very good and with ear buds it sounds great, ear buds arent included. I use galaxy s5 buds. For charging s5 about three minutes of turning the handle raises the battery percentage 1%, another three minutes and 2%. Thats darn good i say for a tiny dynamo. Great controls, clock reads am and pm. Weather radio is very good. Three battery bars show how much charge it has. Flashlight great, extending antenna great. Charging port great. I have no cons. Cool little radio. I have a Midland ER 102 and after many years its still going strong. I wanted to upgrade to some new features with the ER 210. Great little EM radio with lots of great features.

Hurricane Dorian came through today. I felt a lot better when I had to go to work having it with me. It is easily portable. Has a multifunction flashlight. And it has a clock. Has NOAA, AM, and FM. I can let it charge in a window on a regular basis, use a phone cord to charge it, or crank it. It has a LOT of features I have not figured out yet. They crammed a lot of features in a small, handheld device and I am very glad I bought it.

I purchased this radio for the AM Band and Weather Alert Radio. The building I work in is surrounded by 6-12 inches of concrete and rebar. The reception I get with the AM/FM radio is great. The AM frequency comes in clear with little static and one should be prepared for the weather alert as it is loud and the flashlight starts to strobe providing a visual alert as well. I was concerned about the antenna being fixed but was relieved when I could pull the antenna out and angle it to where I wanted it. I am very pleased with this product and am thinking about buying another one for my home.

    Versatile Emergency Radio

I like this radio because it is compact and has multiple recharge options. I bought it in preparation for the 2017 hurricane season, and I keep it plugged in USB to monitor weather alerts. I'm sure it will come in handy for Winter, as well. The only thing that I really don't like about this emergency radio is the antenna. I'm thinking that it really should have a rubber antenna mast, or at least an antenna that doesn't feel like it's going to break off. Fortunately, the external antenna has nothing to do with weather-radio broadcasts, so it's not a deal-breaker.

Great weather radio! Gives you an alert that you can't ignore when dangerous weather is coming your way. Compact, can be charged with solar cells on top if you lose power, and has included flash light, audio and visual beacon if you need to be rescued. The only problem is that violent weather is becoming more common in the US, and the warning is going off more often. Unfortunately, the national weather service is not that localized, so you may be alerted for hail somewhere 40 miles away from your home. That is not the radio's fault, however.

The emergency radio can be recharged by solar feature or by hand crank, thus omitting need for buying batteries. Useful when electricity/power is lost. Also has flash light and SOS feature built into the radio.

This is a great thing to keep in an emergency pack. Combining an am/fm radio that receives weather alerts, a flashlight, and a battery charged via micro-usb, solar, or handcrank simply saves much needed space and weight. All the functions perform perfectly and I am very happy I bought this. Can't recommend this product enough because it simply makes me feel a little more prepared.

I've had similar emergency weather radios (comparable size and handcrank) but this one is the one I prefer so far. Unlike some other comparable weather/emergency radios, this one actually works for a decent amount of time. The battery lasts for quite some time, the solar charging panel is pretty responsive. The weatherband works. I haven't tested the weather alert feature yet as there hasn't been any weather requiring an alert lately. I am still in the process of testing its ability to charge external devices.
