They're okay
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are pretty basic and get the job done. The camo is just a different color, but they're basically identical to the T51VP3 radios so if you want to read more reviews, check those out. The advertised range on any radio of this caliber is going to be way off what you get in real life. So don't buy them expecting to get anywhere near the 28 miles. I would guess that these will be fine for a couple of miles in a real-life situation. I got these on clearance so the price was right and I can't complain. It's nice that they have plenty of privacy codes and I like that there is a usb port on the side to charge them on the go with a standard (dated) miro-usb cable. You can of course also get regular AAAs to work.

Horrible Product and Worst Customer Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased five of these a year ago. First of all the range is not what they claim and most importantly THEY DO NOT HOLD A CHARGE LONGER THAN A DAY. We use them for hunting and have tried charging them with the battery packs they come with, with the USB and conventional batteries. With the conventional batteries I had to put new ones in daily. I contacted Midland customer service to rectify this situation, as we had spent over $200 on five of these and their response was "Sounds like your batteries are bad." I'm sorry Midland, but I don't think five days worth of batteries are bad. They just didn't want to deal with me. DON'T BUY THESE!! Not only will you have issues with them, but you will be disappointed how the company won't stand behind their own product.
