I jumped on this XBOX One version since I have yet to own it on Microsoft's current generation console. This game is Minecraft, a very popular sandbox game. This also comes with a code you can redeem on XBOX Live for the Explorers upgrade as well.

Did we really need it on another system? He said yes and spent some b-day money on it. I find the game slow and boring to play, but watching him and his friends do all sorts of silly stuff is amusing.

Happy belated birthday to your son! We're sure he's having a blast with Minecraft: Explorer's Pack. In addition to the base game (which looks even better on Xbox One), it also comes with several new skin and texture packs to enhance gameplay -- and he can play it online with his friends. With all there is to do in the game, it's a pretty good investment.

It gives me an hour or two to do chores without kids bugging me. THerefore 4 stars. One thing I didn't like is that you can't sign in to your own game without the other players if multiple.
