The game is very fun and includes Nintendo themed backgrounds. Very easy to play and explore.

My son loved the extra content on the wii u version! Game is so much better than the app.

Bought this for my nephews and they love it! Don't understand the appeal myself, graphics are poor, but they love the sandbox aspect of the game

I bought this game for my daughter and she loves it, she would spend all day playing this if she could. This is a good port from other versions and it comes with a few dlc packs which makes it even better. It's constantly being updated so there is always improvement and the frame rate is smooth and runs like it would on ps4 or xbox one.

It's a great version of Minecraft which allows play on the gamepad alone with the TV off or with the TV on with only the Wii U Pro controller when the gamepad is charging. I don't have that much experience with Minecraft but the framerate is very stable and smooth and the game loads very fast. Also, the Super Mario exclusive is rather nice.

My kid loves playing minecraft but only had it on a tablet. Now he can play it on his television in HD. Got it on sale during early cyber deal.

My son loves this game because the level of creativity is completely up to the gamer. He often spends numerous hours playing and developing his own worlds. You can basically build anything that you want within the world. The Mario Mashup Pack was a bonus in providing more character skins. Great Game!

I honestly don't understand the game. But the kiddos play it for hours and they enjoy it alot.

I like the blocks and the new updates. The cities that were added are excellent and now there are so many more options, its hard to know where to begin! I like the fact that I can change my skin as often as I want and the added feature of being in Mario land. Fun for the whole family.

Minecraft is great my son like this version better than the tablet version because he gets to do it on the big TV screen. Minecraft in general is a great game for kids as it inspires creativity in kids instead of mindless fighting, jumping around and shooting things type of games.

Kids love this game and I love that there is a sense of engineering to it, but at the same time fun is had by all. The ability to play multiplayer battles is what I enjoy, but I dislike that as a gamer when I was younger, I'm the worst at this game - I get destroyed by 5 year olds!

Though the mechanics haven't changed, and the visuals remain the same, it's nice to see Minecraft show up for Nintendo fans. The exclusive Mario world build is also excellent to see - there's a lot to discover and children and adults alike will enjoy the experience. Good stuff.

My kids already play minecraft on ipad, PC, XBOX One, so thought natural to also buy version on Wii U. I like the pre-built Mario world and the game pad integration is a nice feature. I like that Wii U allows for more multiplayer interaction so my kids can play together.

The game has decent grafics and is fairly easy to use

The kids love this version of what is becoming a classic game already! They love the Nintendo themed characters and music! Best of all, if I want to use my laptop, I send them to play on WiiU. If I want to play WiiU or watch TV, I send them to use my laptop!

It's Minecraft so gotta like that. Mario character integration is a nice touch. Otherwise it's basically the same thing we already had on the XB1 and iPad. Kid enjoys it though and can play with friends that don't have one of the other platforms. All good.

The game is pretty cool at first but after a while it gets a little boring.

My son and I were already fans of minecraft, but now with it on the WiiU, it made everything so much easier to do. We don't have to trade off devices or computers to play, cuz we have it on the WiiU now. Easy as that! and the game is still the same too!

I thought getting the console version would be much worse than the PC version, but my son really wanted it in Wii U. I am happy to report that it had all the functionality we wanted. Plus it's the only version with the bonus Mario content

Love the detail to the Mario pack in the Wii U edition. Colors of the Mario wors Minecraft are they same as if you were playing an actual Mario game. Mario music plays in the background. You can also play the regular Minecraft worlds.
