I really loved the product a lot. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or family member. The sales associate gave me a lot of valuable information about the product as well. I have enjoyed it ever since the day I purchased it and took it home. I don't know what I did prior to having it. I am a very satisfied customer.

Both our 6 year old and 7 year old LOVE this game. Its one I feel ok about letting them play because the violence is mild (it is a little disturbing when they kill the animals for fun, but no blood, guts or gore at all and they do get useful things for killing animals so its ok) and it teaches them a little but about crafting items, engineering and building buildings, and even gardening and caring for animals. It has made them interested in cooking and different rocks and some of what they have built is really impressive. Overall, a game they love and I feel good about.

A great all around game that allows you to experience things in a new way. You can play already made quests, make your own little world, house, castle, pretty much the sky's the limit. Hours and hours of entertainment, worth every penny!

Minecraft for the XBOX 360 is a great port of the PC game. It looks and plays just like the original version. And with the XBOX controller, it's pretty easy to control as well. I prefer the home console version more, actually. And with the affordable price, it's a no-brainer.

This xbox game will keep young kids attention. They can use their imagination for hours. They create all sorts of things for example: they build houses with swimming pools, You can almost see the water moving about. They build people who are in action. They can build a zoo with different animals. They can build almost anything that their creative minds tells them to build. It is also a learning and teaching tool.

My son really enjoys creating and building in this game. I would say it's definitely worth the money. It's limitless in possibilities and doesn't have blood and gore violence. My only beef with it is the add on packages. You want more... You pay. But it's cheap and you can choose what you want...or you don't have to add on anything and the game still fully plays and has endless possibilities.

So in my family we play a lot of games. My kids have tinkered with Minecraft clones on Wii U as well as using the Minecraft lite on the phone, but nothing has gotten them hooked until I grabbed Minecraft on X360. The game is endless and at a bargain of a price, great product.

I hesitated to buy this game since my kids are obsessed with playing Minecraft on the iPad, but playing on a big screen via the Xbox is a nice change. They invite their friends over and all take turns. It's also very reasonably priced.

my son was so excited to get the xbox 360, and I was comfortable as it would not be as advanced as the 360 live which i feel is more suitable for the older kids. Great for the imagination

The best I could compare it to with someone not familiar with the Minecraft game would be like electronic Legos ... but with more customization and of course that its interactive. You can build what ever you can think of or imagine with the blocks and interact with the huge online community and worlds that others have built and opened up for you to explore and gather new materials to use in creating all kinds of objects. Well worth trying out for the normally less than $20 price tag.

Nice upgrade from playing Minecraft on tablets, as you can expand your creativity with the Xbox 360 version. Everything you enjoy but in an easy to play console version...perfect.

It's Minecraft Again, but Different Where It Count

Anyone who has played Minecraft on PC knows what to expect from the game on Xbox 360. It's the same game, but there are enough differences to justify owning the console version in addition to the PC version. Firstly, split-screen multiplayer. This is probably the biggest plus for the console edition. You can play with up to four players on your console, and those players can enter your game at any point as you're playing. You just need to be running the console in HD. (I use a generic HDMI cable.) It's great fun with friends! Secondly, this edition cannot generate an "infinite" world. Whether above ground or beneath, you will eventually run into an invisible wall. Some will disagree, but I think of this as a plus. A limited (but still rather large) world means you can fill in your world map and explore in a way that feels more immediately rewarding, and you won't get lost as long as you have your map. Thirdly, the vastly improved crafting system. No longer must you arrange items in specific ways on a grid (often having to look up the various recipes because it's otherwise too cryptic). When you enter the crafting menu it shows you the items you can make and what you need to make them. As long as you have what you need you just select the item you want and it's made! Simple as that. Finally, the game looks and plays wonderfully on the tv and with the Xbox controller. As soon as you start playing it feels like an upgrade to the Minecraft experience, not a console rehash. The only downside is you'll lose a lot of time to the game and wonder where the day went, but anyone familiar with the game already knows that!
