I usually don't write reviews, but I think this is important for consumers to know. I purchased this item and after about 7 months it just quit working, giving an error code of "E01." I contacted customer service where I was first told to check my owner's manual for the error code and then told to return it to the store. Unfortunately the store will not take the item back due to it being past the 30 day return period. The customer service at Frigidaire is ridiculous. Also, they apparently put the serial number on a sticker because the serial number on my item is nowhere to be found, which also renders the warranty useless. However, they etched the model number in the unit. Frigidaire refuses to take responsibility for their faulty items.

Sure, it looks great and matches my major appliances, but what about those controls? They feel like garbage and they feel cheap. And the unit just feels cheaply made with very thin steel. Plus, it takes 7 minutes to toast a bagel while my actual toaster does the same in 2 minutes. I am returning this and buying something else.

The device itself is AWESOME...the reason for my one star review has to do with Frigidaire (Electrolux). The device went south after only 6 months use. So I replaced it via warranty. 6 months later the replacement device went out...WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. Frigidaire/Electrolux's response was basically....too bad so sad, the warranty is only good one year "from the original purchase date". So if your replacement comes 1 week after that 1 year date, and it goes bad within just a few days of you receiving it...you are OUT OF LUCK. The oven really is very good, just the Warranty service from Electrolux for it is terrible (the people helping me were very nice, but according to them their hands were tied. ) So if you get this oven, MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU GET THE Best Buy Coverage for it as well.

I will start off with saying I read reviews on bestbuy.com before buying this and there were a large number of good reviews but also some bad ones, and I reallly have a hard time believing most reviews because most people are not intelligent enough to evaluate an item unbiased and give a worth while review. However I wish I had listened to some of the reviews I saw on here, or even just brought the thing back within the timeframe allowed but Im so busy between a full time job and school I never got around to it and now am stuck with it. With all that said I am somewhat hopeful that I can maybe get a hold of best buy because i bought the two year extended plan and maybe they can get it working better as long as its just not poorly built. But my big problem with this is I've cooked pizzas in here and breaded pork chops and other thing and the only thing that has turned out really good were the frozen burritos. To start with the pizza it cooks beautifully on the top just perfect but the dough underneath was not cooked at all, same with the porkchops the breading on the bottom was sitting in a pool of liquid becuase they were only getting heat from the top whcih completely changed the way they cooked, yes they got heated all the way through eventually but they cooked very poorly and the end product was very unsatisfactory. The bottom infrared lights never turn on however the top ones get bright red on and off as cooking i dont know if I need to use a different setting other than bake to get the bottom lights to come on and apply heat underneath which would fix this whole problem completely or if they just came burnt out brand new. I will go in to my local store and see if they can help or call frigidaire probably call the manufacturer first but I am not happy with this product at this point. If I get it figured out and later become happy with this product I will change my review.

After only 5 months it started burning my toast even on the lightest setting and then top burner stopped working all together. Rather disappointing because I thought that "Professional" would mean it would last longer. Going to see about replacing it and hoping that perhaps mine was just defective.

Works great! loved this oven... Buttt... it crapped out one year, one month after the warranty expired. Nothing MFG can do for me. Buy the extended warranty! Buyer beware**CN

There are a lot of restrictions on using this item. E.G., do not use aluminum foil; do not use any cooking pans other than those that come with the oven; etc. I carefully read the instructions before trying to use this item. I spent a great deal of time trying to understand the controls. I finally gave up and returned it to Best Buy (without any fuss, thank you Best Buy!).
