This thing tracks movement and activities. But best of all it tracks sleep! Not accurate all the time because I've fallen asleep early and woken up and the first sleep wasn't captured. Sleep is as important as food and exercises in weight loss.

Inspires me to be active when I might otherwise skip my walk in mid-winter. No charging necessary, and the slim watch is not in the way, especially since it is waterproof. Highly recommend.

One of my biggest complaints with a fitness tracker is how much you have to charge. I am so happy that misfit does not need to be charged.

I chose the Shine because of the necklace and clip option. I didn't want something that I wore on my wrist. It is comfortable and has really opened my eyes to the fact I am not walking enough during the day or sleeping enough I night.

I loved the tracker in so many ways but ultimately returned it for a few reasons. Short sync range, doesn't display enough info, wristband made me worried about losing it. Twice the band unsnapped but my sweatshirt retained it.

Had a bestbuy rewards coupon and used it for this purchased to replace my Fitbit. Been ok. Doesn't syncing info automatically. You manually have to do it from your phone. It looks nicer than the fitbit or other trackers

Lightweight, waterproof, with long-life battery, very good app for iphone, and automatic sleep detection, Shine is in my opinion the best activity tracker of the market.

I really like this device. It looks like a watch and monitors sleep and steps well. Price compares to a fitbit, and wears well. Wish could connect to a fitbit community.

I purchased this item a month ago. I exchanged it after two weeks because it would not sync. I have had my second one for two weeks and the same thing is happening. It also doesn't accurately count steps. I synced it and then counted over 200 steps. I synced it again and it only registered 82 steps. I'm not sure why this is. I have not had time to reach out to the company but I will soon.

It been helping me move around and lose weight. The only thing that don't like about it, the shine doesn't always synce when I have the app on. Sometimes it works on the first try, other times it take about 3 times.

First time user with something like this. Steps were easy to follow and app is user friendly. The shine isn't heavy at all and allows you to wear it any way! Love it!

I love the activity and sleep tracking and how the graphs are detailed. Compared to Fitbit and Lifetrak this is way more sophisticated and acurate.

It is as accurate as any of the others plus water proof which comes in handy for swimming and other water based activities as well as just letting it be part of the normal day-to-day wear.

Keeps a good track of your daily activity and even goes underwater!

If you're looking for a watch or a calorie counter, this is not the monitor for you. But it does a great job tracking both activities and sleep without requiring my thinking about it.

This little gadget works fine for me. I only want to know if I am moving. Bonus that it tracks my sleep and I know whether I am getting real rest. As most other reviews stated the Shine is easily lost. I resorted to using painters tape to secure it to my shoe while walking and exercising. I tape it to the wrist strap for daily wear so I don't lose it. Connects to MyFitnessPal for calorie counting. Serves my purpose.

I really like the band and how it works with my phone. The app is great and so easy to use. The band is light and very comfortable.

The shine has been a good first activity tracker. I wish I could set goals for number of steps as opposed to just time of activity. Over all this has been a good purchase.

I opted for the flash vs. the shine because they essentially work the same. You're really paying for the material of the wristband and clip. Though that is the one gripe I have with this product - the plastic material is easy to break, and it's not compatible with most accessories meant for the shine. But it's not worth bringing down my overall opinion of it. When the plastic gives will vary depending on how well you care for your things. I love mine, I wear it all the time, and I love the accompanying app :)

Have been using this fitness tracker for quite a few months now and thoroughly enjoy its versatility. I like that I can place it almost anywhere on my body for different workouts or even sleeping. The other big selling point was being able to use it in and under water. My last pedometer got fried since I accidentally left it in my pocket at the beach in the water. The Misfit app is also great with the ability to tie in with other fitness apps that I use including the iPhone Health app.
