A bit formulaic as far as action movies go. Felt a bit long in the tooth midway through, and I felt like it wrapped up a bit too neatly - that being said, I’d love to see Gina Rodriguez try something again in this genre, but with a meatier plot.

Gina Rodriguez surprised me in this movie, have to clap my hands to her performance ....great job. Have some action for people who like action.

Miss Bala is almost a tame action thriller about a woman who searches for her friend who was kidnapped. Still worth it though!

In a drug cartel environment, this tale tells a story of good vs. evil with a twist. It is difficult at times too tell the good guys from the bad! A strong willed woman dispenses her own version of justice!

Powerful action paked movie finally a woman who takes control of her destiny by a single bullet aka Bala!

I never watched the Spanish version but I enjoyed a night in with this one. Girl crush on Gina Rodriguez!
