This is one of those movies you want to believe was an adaptation from a book. It has all the fantasy aspects but also a story about good vs bad, morality and the human condition. I found the movie very entertaining and thoughtful. I do think it could have been a bit more but that would have required a much longer movie. Overall a good movie that is in the realm of a slightly dark fantasy. I would be remiss not to mention that the gamble for the digital copy doesn't pay off. It is not UHD but blu ray level. Hopefully studios will realize if they sell a 4k disc with digital copy, the digital copy too should be 4k to match. As far as 4k disc goes, it is better than the blu ray but just slightly. I prefer the 4k as I like the differences and detail. I don't use any effects for playback which over sharpen the movie as it diminishes it. Other than the digital copy miss, I find this to be a worthwhile purchase and BB at the time offered it at a very competitive price.

This was a wonderful, interesting movie. I am so glad to find another good movies that my whole family enjoys together.

This movie made a nice family night flick. Gave us a reason to get out the 3d glasses and it was well worth it.

This movie has some great cinematography and effects but it is a wild, weird ride. The question is, do you want to ride?

I love this movie very much. It did very well by sticking to the book. I love that it is on 4k so it's a must have.

You have to like this genre of film, so probably best for teenage boys, but it's good for adults too

Watched it prior to sharing with my Grand children. Good movie however not for young children

This was definitely a very good 3D movie , with alot of depth , and alot images coming out of the screen

Wasn't to sure about this but my grand daughter wanted me to get it. Was surprised...Not bad at all.

Nice movie for the entire family. Especially those with pre-teens. My son loved the book and the movie.

The 3D version in my opinion adds an element that was there in the 2D version but is stands out in 3D.
