If you like your action adventure movies well written with good acting and high production values than this is the movie for you. Once again Cruise and his cast of familiar characteres deliver in this fith in the series of Mission Impossible movies. If nothing more than watching this movie for some of the spectacular stunts that Cruise does in this movie, this movie is well worh the money you have to pay for the DVD versus paying to watch it at the theater, just because you can play it back and forth to watch these stunts as many times as you want.

This one takes me back to the very first movie which in my opinion is still the best one . They have returned back to the original formula that made the first one so great. I don't know how many more of these movies Cruise has left in him but if they continue with this format rogue nation they're on the right track. All I can say is keep them coming and I will continue to be a huge fan of the series. I can't wait until they start bringing these movies out in 4k discs. I would definitely buy all the movies all over again in 4k. Highly recommended.

Like all the past Mission Impossible movies this was a high octane rush that kept you on the edge of your seat. The first in the series was convoluted mess that was hard to follow but have gotten consecutively better with each movie. I bought this as a reminder and in anticipation of the 6th now in theaters as I wanted to be up on the ongoing storyline that has been developed throughout the series. Like the 5th, the 6th didn't disappoint either but that's a review for another time

Rogue Nation has completed - to date - my collection of the movie series; hope there is another. However, Tom Cruise and cohorts won't be young enough to handle the "physical" demands, forever! The movie was, again, the most technically advanced beyond that of it's predecessors, and the action scenes more dramatic in their bombardment of the audio/visual viewer senses. Flow and sequencing of movie well-paced and lacked no "lulls" in the story. Highly recommend owning this, if you are an "IMF" enthusiast!

"Mission Impossible Rouge Nation" while possibly a minor step down from the previous installment "Ghost Protocol" it is still a great action movie with awesome practical stunts and an entertaining cast. Also this latest "MI" installment shows Tom Cruise is still at the top of his game when it comes to playing the action hero. Recommended! BTW If you can manage to get a hold of the Best Buy Steelbook packaging edition I highly suggest you do as Steelbooks are the nicest way to collect movies in my opinion.

Just got home from seeing this great installment of the series and it's the best one to-date. There's nothing that Tom Cruise can't do in these films. Edge-of-your-seat action, compelling intrigue, comedy and gadgets galore. I held my breath when Tom was underwater in one scene for almost five minutes and it wasn't a computer graphic. He produced this movie so he knows what we like to see. Another winner to add to my collection of Mission Impossible movies along with my other Tom Cruise favorites!

I'm a fan of the Mission Impossible series of movies, and I realized that I hadn't seen Rogue Nation so I decided to get it on DVD. I've been getting movies in the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray versions lately, and I was thrilled to find the movie at a good price at Best Buy. It was a good value for the purchase.

    A Must-Own Thrill Ride Finally in 4K!

I consider Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation a MUST-OWN action title on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. The movie is obviously tons of fun, laughs and action. It also has the same great early Dolby Atmos surround track as found on the original Blu-ray release, but now a minor uptick in terms of video. I would not call it night or day difference in visuals since it's not true 4K (hence only my 4-star score here), but I feel this is a title worth owning in your home media collection in its finest possible state. This is that! Sadly there are no new extras or anything pertinent to the new film this July.

Very action packed film. Good use of humor, and drama. The visual aspect was very entertaining. From the opening scene to the amazing climax I was engulfed in the film. I watched it twice to catch what I missed in the plot the first time. It was still awesome the second time around. there is a lot going on in the plot which made it intriguing and fast paced. I would definitely recommend this film, hence the five star rating. A must watch.

When I saw the first trailer for this film, I was excited. It featured explosions, exotic locales, a beautiful woman, and Tom Cruise running toward the screen all-out (what more do you want out of an action film?). Then I heard that it was directed by the same man who gave us Jack Reacher... and I was worried. While the last Mission Impossible was cartoonish and rightly so, as it's director had directed animated features like The Incredibles, I primarily remembered Jack Reacher being over-violent and kind of dull, despite Tom Cruise being lovably crazy (apparently his natural state of mind). So was this film another Ghost Protocol? Or another Jack Reacher?

I am revisiting and reviewing all my Best Buy purchases; MI: Rogue Nation does a decent job continuing the MI series after the average (IMO) MI: Ghost Protocol. The first MI was okay, the second MI was...entertaining (I've been a huge John Woo fan since the mid 90's, but a gun toting super heroic Ethan Hunt seemed a little far fetched, especially after how he was portrayed in the first film), the third by JJ Abrams was awesome, and Ghost Protocol was average. Rogue Nation rights the ship of the MI series. This design of this SteelBook is pretty decent.

Ive watched all of mission impossible movies and i gotta say that after a dissapointing MI Ghost protocol, i was skeptical of this one but am satisfied with my decision to purchase the movie. Plot is entertaining, with good amount of action, with just enough comedy at the right times, not too serious but not too lose, overall a great movie to watch on a saturday night. And i may be biased but the actress in the movie i thought was hot! =)

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation up until this year was my favorite of the series. I was so looking forward to checking out Rebecca Ferguson and her flowing yellow dress in stunning 4K video. Thankfully as usual Paramount's stunning 4K transfer did not let me down complete with the original Dolby Atmos surround track. The only bummer if there is one is the fact that there's no new bonus features whatsoever (only reason I gave it a 4). Oh well. Beggars can't be choosers. Buy this one for the 4K presentation. Everything else has been released before.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation is not just action packed, but it's an absolute fun ride that makes you think about the state of affairs. Tom Cruise is aging quite well in this series, and he's looking to be far more fun than the new Bond that's been offered to us in recent years. Video and sound quality are excellent. Wether or not you are an IMF fan, this one is well worth the purchase for action, adventure and sheer fun.

Very entertaining film. It is an exciting thrill ride. It is paced very well. Scenes are executed well. The cast does a reasonably good job. Tom Cruise proves he is still believable as an action star. This film and 2011's "Ghost Protocol" have rejuvenated the franchise. As for the steelbook, it is very nice piece for anyone's collection. This steelbook's artwork matches the essence of the film, a great thrill ride.

Tom Cruise seems to have a lockdown the espionage action movie dramas genre. I've seen all of the Mission Impossible movies, and each one is better than the previous one. Great scene locations is one reason I like to these movies. Plus "behind the scenes" footage are always great, but to actually see Cruise hanging on the side of a real airplane and being filmed at 20,000 feet in the air had me on the edge of my seat. And he did 10 takes!! I may not agree with what Tom Cruise does in her personal religious life, but you have to give the man credit when he makes these Mission Impossible movies

Each movie has gotten better and better in this series. This is my favorite and in my opinion best movie of the series. I've said that about each movie 3, 4 and now 5. Like no other in the series the MI team seem out flanked and on the run the whole time. The action and the story and the way everything comes round to the make this a thrill ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the end!

By been outsmarted by other organization and even shutdown by the goverment, the plot gets some fresh elements, you get to know some members such as bengie even better. It's nice for a while to get out of the comfort zone and risk even your own existence. The special effects and physical demands of the crew are exhausting, but they deliver a good product. Price is excelent.

As always Tom Cruise provides exciting and hair raising scenes throughout the movie. Acting was superb with just the right amount of humor. All actors did a marvelous job. I really enjoyed this movie with its action and location cinematography being exceptional. If you haven't seen this movie it is a must see so go and get the dvd or rent from your cable company. It will not disappoint.
