Hours upon hours of entertainment for both my kids- ages 10 & 8 The graphics are so realistic! And the game commentary and noises really help to make you feel like you’re really there. They also love creating their own characters/ MLB players on the road to the show, and making decisions and choices as if they are pro ball players navigating their own career. It’s one of the only games they play consistently, and we have quite a collection. Would definitely recommend!

Fun game. Keeps getting more realistic as it goes. I will be interested to see what the next gen console brings!

I'm a big fan of any and all sport games and a big baseball fan. This game has realistic game play and a lot of different modes to play in. Graphics are awesome!! I've always been a fan of this series and this edition did not let me down.

Really enjoy the game play. RTTS feature is better than 19, the realism of the stadiums and players is remarkable.

I am huge fan of the MLB the Show franchise. I preorder every year's edition and eagerly await release day ("opening day!"). The game is generally very good again and I have already devoted around 100 hours in just 10 days to playing it, so it must not be that bad. I pretty much only play Road to the Show and Franchise modes, so I'll cover each briefly... RTTS is not much different from previous editions, which does not make it bad. I was bothered by the fact that there were a lot of bugs with the logic for presenting stats and such. I would often see a player come to bat and it would show an entirely different (usually the last batter's) stats. Not a deal breaker, but hurts the presentation of the game. I was also bothered by the ridiculous decisions that "teams* made during the off-season. For example, the Orioles organization currently has a top ten prospect in 2019 1st overall pick Adley Rutschman. They have complete control over Jim for at least 6 years, but despite being the worst team in the league, they allowed him to leave after 1 year and sign with another team. If your a simulation game, you should try to simulate. There is no way this would happen! You gotta get closer to reality. Franchise modes seems to actually have improved the decision making of teams. I used to be able to easily mill other teams in trades to quickly and vastly improve my team. I can still make trades, but they seem to require more reasonable offers now. That's a good thing as it increases the challenge. I also think that the draft process seems far more reasonable than in past years with less (more reasonable number of) high quality players. You can quibble all you want about player ratings, improvements and the like. We all have our opinions on that stuff. I don't fault how it came out. I also LOVE that San Diego Sports finally added the minor leaguers. I'm a fan of pro baseball and pay some attention to those things, so having the real minor leaguers instead of made up players is a huge advancement for me! YMMV. Overall, I still really enjoy the game. Some bug fixes and improvements to front office logic and I would have given it 5 stars and them some.

Been getting this series each year as I am a baseball fan. This continues the series when new graphics and modes for players. But haven't really played since no sports happening at the moment. May get back to it though.

Another year, another MLB the Show. This game is the reason why I still have a Playstation. Graphics are top-notch, the gameplay is the smoothest yet, and I love the Road to the Show mode, inserting myself and becoming a Hall-of-Fame player. There is also a robust Franchise mode so you can be the GM of your favorite team and turn them (or keep them) into a dynasty. Lots of fun and lots of replayability. Big Thumbs up!
