As different as they are in the characters/locations etc... they all show ordinary people dealing with some problem or predicament (getting lost, food allergy, feeling alone) . The characters are relatable and inspiring. The conversations we had as a family is an unexpected gift from this small collection.

Disappointed

Each short had lack of a real ending or a full story. They all felt incomplete. To go from Mary and the Witch's Flower (awesome) to these shorts is a shame. Hope this isn't the direction that Studio Ponoc plans to keep heading. Do not recommend.

Beautiful short films

When I heard that Studio Ghibli was no longer going to produce anything (until later it was announced that Miyazaki is going to create one last film), I was sad. Then, I discovered that Yoshiaki Nishimura started Studio Ponoc to create Ghibli-like films. If you love Ghibli, you will love these!

For fans of quality animation

Not What I Expected....
