Purchased for FaceTime and Zoom meetings. It can hold your phone and easily supports an iPad with the cover on it. Nice range of adjustments. I ended up using it all the time not just for meetings. This stand does stay in place once you put your iPad on it and you can use the keyboard on your iPad but it does bounce just slightly while typing. Very heavy duty and great quality.
