Problems Since Day 1
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PRO: Very quiet; dries plastic well CONS: Ours has not worked properly since the day it was installed (18 months now). And now that we are out of the factory warranty, we are being charged for things that have never really gotten fixed (even though all the visits have been repeat visits for the same problem): 1. The door on ours keeps hitting the floor because either the hinges or the springs are not working. They've both been replaced several times, but it keeps happening. And now I'm being charged for each visit to fix them again 2. It leaks. We've had this thing leaking from the bottom more than once, dripping water to the floors below. Once again, now that we are out of the warranty period, GE won't fix it free of charge. We will not buy this product again, and will not keep dumping money into repairs. Very disappointed with customer service that they cannot honor their warranty or just replace our unit. Clearly, it was defective since Day 1. We are going to buy a new dishwasher from another brand.
