I got this game for my son for his birthday and he literally played this and only this non-stop until he beat the game! He could not say enough good things about it and how fun it was! Great for teens and young adults.

In the past, it was difficult to get into Monster Hunter games. World introduced a bunch of QOL upgrades that make it very friendly for newcomers but still keeps the amazing gameplay in tact. Definitely give it a try.

Graphics are great, gameplay is fun, the story is a bit meh. There's a learning curve to this game, make sure you read all tutorials otherwise you'll be lost on some missions. The co-op is great when it works.

This is a top notch game that will keep you playing for hours. I do believe that some folks could get really frustrated with it, but you have to get through some of that difficulty to enjoy the rewards. Excellent RPG.

I liked the concept and the art style to this game. The game play wasn't what I wanted though because the controls were not good. Trying to direct attacks was so tough.

I bought this game because my coworkers played it and kept begging me to buy it. Dug it so much I would always end up playing for hours after they all would long off.

Excellent game actually pretty difficult to be honest takes a lot of skill and mental agility. Sometimes this game really makes me angry cause of all the interruptions in battle lol. But still a good game.

Great game, even for a 1st timer like myself. Additional content released after the game allows for replay value. Great graphics and loving the team based combat. Great with a friend and solo.

My son absolutely loves this game, he's probably logged like 60 hours into it at this point. He comes to it from playing games like Ark, Pokemon, Minecraft, and a few others. He's hooked!

You won't get bored with this game! The monsters always seem difficult but never overpowering, especially when playing by yourself (monsters do get harder as more friends join your fight!).

Finally the MH game we have been waiting for. Controls and menus simplified without losing any of the depth. Graphic the best in the series. But is easily best to go at it with friends.

This game is very fun and a good way to sink a ton of hours into playing. It does get a bit repetitive, but that is expected after over 100 hours of playing.

If you liked MH before you will love this. Better graphics and easier to get into and understand. Not much of a single player but plenty multi player is good when they make it easier to matchmake

Good game. Having fun... It has a lot of actions to do, but because it's soo much it can be a little overwhelming. Also, the aim is really bad. Music, story and so forth is amazing!

My son plays this game. He like it okay, it's just not one of his favorites. It looks good, but the open world is a little too open. He'd like a little more direction on what objectives to achieve and why they are important. I think he enjoys Divinity: Original Sin quite a bit more. That comparison is a bit apples and oranges since DOS is turn-based, but the interactions and story progress just seem better in that game.

Beautiful game all around. Game's learning curve is a bit steep for casual but not as much as other MH games.
Love the RPG elements with exploration and great action gameplay.

I wouldn’t recommend this for a casual gamer. It is tedious, rewarding, and ultimately very entertaining if you’re a fan of lots and lots of stats and challenging gameplay.

Although Monster Hunter: World looks amazing graphically, that was just about as far as it got with me. The controls felt clunky, the story was lacking, and there isn't much fun in it without playing online with friends. If anyone is considering buying this game, I would caution you to do more research. It is a very niche game that may feel lacking depending on your gaming preferences, as it did with me.
