Not worth it

Not only was it not necessary, it wouldn't work at all and we had to return it for a different (and less expensive) option.

As soon as I used this cord, it was evident that it did not work right out of the packaging. Thought I had a problem with my Amazon Fire TV, but that was not the case, just a bad HDMI cord that I bought new.
