Purchased this cable as it was the only one on the shelf, but it's package had been opened. Shame on me, I purchased it anyway. The cable was damaged and did not carry signal. Had to quickly get one overnighted​ from another company. That one worked as expected. Not a good experience.

Was shorter than I was looking for but worked out it is directional but worked great

This cable is way over priced. The insulation is very soft and provides very little protection. My wires insulation tore during a simple installation. I do not recommend this cable

Well, there is a reason Best Buy and Monster are in a class action lawsuit. The cable did not do what it advertised it could do and then it failed completely.

If you need a cable for a run of 25-35 feet for 4K resolution, this is NOT the cable to buy. It says that it can produce 4K and has speeds of 27GBps, if it did then technically it would produce 4K, unfortunately it does NOT. Do not buy, not worth 2 dollars let alone 200 dollars they are asking.

Needed a long hdmi cable to watch ultra high definition dvd's. The cable worked great for blue ray dvd's, but did not work for ultra hdvd's even though it said it would. I returned the product.

I bought this item and returned it twice. Neither cable I purchased worked. Steer clear and avoid the hassle.

I originally installed the 24' Rocketfish (behind the stud frames) in my basement home theatre, BEFORE the drywall went up. After hooking up my 4k (Sony XBR 940D) to my 4k upscale receiver (Pioneer Elite 301LX), my cable box (Verizon) decided that it would only spit out audio and no video. After SEVERAL attempts at trouble-shooting (calling cable company/reading about firmware updates/changing every setting known to man/20 on-off sequences) the problem, I found out that the Rocketfish cable was the culprit (ARC not working). I bought this Monster cable yesterday, tested it, and it works GREAT! Better quality video than w the Rocketfish cable (which worked directly to my cable box, but not thru my 4k receiver). Only thing i have to show for the RF cable are 3 separate holes in my newly mudded walls (which aided in fishing the new Monster cables). I had several doubts about the "expensive overated hdmi cables", so I went w the latter. In hindsight I wish I would just have gone w the better quality right 'off the bat', which would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. If you have the money to buy these cables (which I agree are pricey), then save yourself the trouble. Prior to popular belief, these hdmi cables ARE NOT created equally!

I ran these through the walls before noticing that the cables are directional. I had to rip them out and rerun them the correct way. I did test them when they were run backwards and they don't work. The picture is flawless however now that they are run the correct way.
