FAKE REVIEWS

Don't be fooled. These reviews are BS. This products is downright garbage. I made a big mistake a bought a bunch of these for my office and spent an entire weekend trying to get them hooked up. They are horribly difficult to setup use. The bluetooth is weak and the only thing that i could get to play via wifi was actual files on my phone. Nothing would stream from the iTunes could, Pandora didn't work at all - just played through my phones speaker. Incredibly frustrated. I took them all back to Best Buy and even though it was past 15 days, the guy took pity on me - he said that they're seeing more come back than not. He said most of the sales guys are recommending against this speaker because of the likelihood of a return. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! There are way too many good options to put yourself through the pain.

Sound is incredible and there are 4 ways to connect to a phone/mp3 player. Wifi Bluetooth, optical, mini jack. It is a little tricky to set up but youtube has a great video that held my hand. Up and running in 10 min. Only real issue is that Apple Music is not supported in wifi so you could not have it on a few speakers streaming throughout your home. I love my S3 and would buy two more for the house if they would add Apple Music with a app update. These are awesome speakers its just a software update!!

Ok I am a little disappointed in these speakers. The S3 is head and shoulders better than the S2 (which can sound tinny at times). Setup was not the easiest, but once done you don't have to go through it again. They sometimes lose sync requiring a restart of the speakers and/or device when streaming through WiFi - which by the way is so cool for those that have never. They can be played together or separately. But you will need premium subscriptions to the music apps to stream (though there is one Android app that allows streaming of all services). No integration with Google Home unfortunately, but the Monster site hints about Alexa integration. Oh and Best Buy does not even carry these any longer...

We love the speaker! It has terrific sound quality, with nice, deep, low, bass that is crystal clear. The speaker's housing is a heavy, well built, & well designed compartment. The weight assists in preventing the speaker from vibrating from sound in exactly the way a quality speaker should. We have four (4) wireless speakers in the house, so far and the overall is best and loudest on this one. There is one major drawback for me: The speaker isn't completely wireless. It has to remain plugged into an electrical socket to function, unless my Jawbone Big JamBox. The wireless refers only to the Bluetooth connection to the device, and not being completely wireless like my JamBox and other wire free speakers. Other than that, my entire household is very pleased with it.

I bought S3 speakers last night (05/20/2015), the speakers look decent and fits well with home decor and wireless linking is pretty easy but be aware that music on your home network does not work as the iphone 6 app for soundstage keeps throwing error on home network and there is no online support on Monster's website.
The bluetooth does not work at all, following the instruction in the manual says press and hold PLay/Pause button for 3 seconds to link a device and it has not worked since the firmware update. I am disappointed on the support and bluetooth setup, it is just not simple.
the good part is when it works with the audio jack the sound is excellent. it fills a 20X20 room with deep bass and excellent clarity.
I am going to return it though as bluetooth and home network and iphone App are subpar and are inconsistent.
Not recommende until Monster improves support for this device.

After hearing the Monster S3 in the store which I thought was a great sound for the price I decided to buy it.
Once I got it home and started the setup, that`s when all the trouble started.
After several attempts at setting up and phone calls for tech support I gave up and returned the unit.

I have always believed that Monster made the best products. With this I would have to disagree. For the money I expected alot more.

Hi everyone. I own the Monster Soundstage S3 and would have simply loved it if I the smart as*es making this most amazing soundsystem could make a decent software that could allow me to stream any sound on wifi. No doubt that the speaker's sound is so so amazing I left sonos and bose and went with this S3.
I wish I could stream sound of the movie being played on my pc to S3 via wifi and use additional soundstage speakers to conver the system to 2.1 or 3.1 or even 5.1 surround system. That would not only give me a great wifi surround sound home theatre system but also make me but more and more soundstage speakers. It's like all companies are just following the software and features. I wish they would bring this simple breakthrough and make it so much worth while. I wish they will get this review and make it happen. Good luck Monster Soundstage team. The sound quality is outstanding and excites me. I love it just wish more utility though. Cheers.

I am very pleased with the sound quality of the Sounstage S3, however as many others have stated, setup options are not very good. I was only able to use the analog input via a 3.5mm cable. I attempted to use the Bluetooth option as well as the WiFI option with no success. Unfortunately, I will be returning the Soundstage to the store after just a few hours of trying. It's no wonder this item is on clearance for $159. It's definitely not worth the original price of $399.

I just got these speakers today and I am pleasantly surprised. The speaker gets very loud with crisp sound! I listen to mostly rap, pop, and electronic music and for the most part, the S3 can provide deep loud bass. Some songs at high volumes, the subwoofer in the back sounds a little distorted, but that is at very very high volumes. Overall, I am very pleased and is definitely worth the high price!
