I originally did this because i bought two phones and it was cheaper than buying the providers insurance. Plus it covers everything else i buy from Best Buy. Only thing, is that alot of electronics come with warranty from the manufacturer that is 2yrs. Best Buy makes it pretty hassel free to exchange something. I renewed my warranty even though my phones are no longer covered. I have bought several other devices. Ring, Samsung Bluetooth, Samsung phones, and an xbox with controllers.

It’s awesome to have no concerns when you buy this plan. You can buy a product and use it without warranty concerns. I’ve had this plan for over 25 years on my products. Only used it once .

Must have the yearly best but protection plan. Feels good having my devices covered. Easy and hassle free to file a claim. Some devices are expensive like tvs, computer or kitchen appliances. But having them protected gives you the peace of mind.

I've been a BB Geek Squad Total member for a number of years. It's saved me more than the cost of membership. As an example: In Feb 2025, I bought an HP Envy Desktop Computer. After about 2 weeks, the monitors would shut down, and the computer would spontaneously re-boot. I didn't have all the packaging for the computer, and took it in for repair. The Geek Squad tech I was talking asked if I wanted to swap one out, or look at something else. I told him I didn't have the packaging and he said that's not a problem. He took the time to make suggestions, and after 20 minutes, suggested that I look at an IBuyPower that was $30 more than the HP, and was intended for gaming. He even directed me to a near-by store that had one. Over the past several years, I've had mice and KBs go out during the warranty period and have had them replaced at no charge. I've read several articles that people think the Geek Squad membership is to pricey, and they have modified the services they do for members. Overall, IMO, this is a membership worth about $180/year. I renewed 2 March and have saved $340. I would recommend this protection plan.

I was hesitant to purchase this Best Buy Protection Plan. Then I bought 4 Apple Watches and realized that I could get a 24 month protection on my watches by joining this program and keeping it active. The price was cheaper than buying an Apple insurance plan from Apple. Now I buy more products from Best Buy and the warranty covers them all for no added cost. It is a bigger initial cost but it has turned out to be much cheaper in the long run. We just recently had a large Mini Fridge tear up two weeks before the 24 months was up and we got a new replacement. It took a few more steps than I realized it was going to but saved us $300.

I have used the protection program for years. It has been great. My kids have been hard on things I have bought. But thanks to protection program I have had a very easy time replacing the broken items. Computers, TVs, and other things. I always get the protection programs. I have always been happy with their service and ability to replace my items.

We use Best Buy protection Plan on every purchase we make. It has been a great back up plan in case we have had problem with our items. So far we have never had any trouble having a problem with a return.

The product I had purchased was covered with the Best Buy total plan. And when it had problems even though it was discontinued since it had the Total protection they worked with me to completely satisfy the issue. Thank you Best Buy and total protection!

​I've had a few Geek Squad Protection plans over the years and my experience has been mostly positive. For bigger purchases like my TV, the plan was a no-brainer. I had an issue with a power surge a year into owning it, and the process was surprisingly easy. Geek Squad came to my house, assessed the problem, and since it couldn't be fixed, they approved a replacement. No questions asked. It's that kind of service that makes the plan feel like a good investment.

Tremendous concept and service, what I like is that it’s puts you right to the front of the line when you need the service most.

Worth the yearly money for the warranty. My gaming pc was free for them to go through and figure out was wrong with out the warranty it would of been $258

The membership price can vary, but I've gotten my money back several times with computer repairs (new battery) etc. Perks are not overly motivating but you do get updates on early sales,etc. if that's your thing. Return policies and early shopper discounts I have used.

Price vs quality is well worth it. One of the best TV’s I have bought and very happy with it. I bought it for an apartment I have out of state. The quality is just as good as a very expensive model I bought for my home. I highly recommend it.

Best Television we have purchased. Made our room complete. All of the features the T.V. had were easy to navigate.

I am glad that I have purchased the protection plan. It protects everything that I have purchased in Best Buy is the only place to purchase all of my products and I am glad I have done so because I have had to utilize it and didn’t have a problem.

this is the 3rd time in a few years I've had service done with BB Geek Squad. When I bought a computer system, I had my old hard drive cleaned off; then when my husband passed I got this faily new computer and had mine cleared once again, then a few years later it started slowing up and would not download correctly. Each time they services my computer things rang smoothly. I will always take it to the BB Geek Squad should anything happen.

I had a. Issue with the setting on the tv. I called and got a knowledgeable representative who was able to walk my husband through the process. He is not very tech savvy so that says a lot. The technician was very patient!
