Only drawback to an otherwise nice battery case is it charges with a Micro USB port rather than the lightening port that comes with the iPhone 5. That precludes the use of the standard charger and the use of iPod 5s docking stations and accessories. That seems like poor engineering.

The Mophie charger fits well and looks good on the iPhone without compromising the functionality of the product. I use the case as my primary case for those times when a charger cannot be found. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a battery case.

This external battery pack was suppose to be able to charge my iPhone 5s 120%. I'm lucky if I can get 1 full charge off it if I start charging my phone when it gets to 20%. That's about an 80% recharge.

Bought this for my iPhone 5s , it's such a great case, love the color red, I just am still unsure how to wirelessly sync the mophie with my laptop. And the only other complaint I have is that if u drop this case, it scratches and chips easily

Once you have one of these cases you won't be able to live without one. I wish they made one with a lightning chord input.

It feels very secure. I had to look carefully for headphones that work with the case without the extra extender. Logitech heaphones work well with the cable reversed so the straight plug goes into the iPhone.

The main reason I decided that I needed some extra charge and this was the best product out there to fulfill that. The only problem is that it will significantly lower your reception signal if you're not in a strong coverage area.

I have bought several of these over the past couple of years but unfortunately they only last for a few months... I am a power user of the iPhone and typical deplete the phone battery before noon each day, but the mophie gets me thru the rest of the day in the beginning but as time progresses it too depletes after only a couple of hours service... It would be a great product if it were half the price but since it wears out so quickly... But this only I'd you have money to spare.

Excellent case and functionality but were it falls short Is it's durability. Components in the case can't with stand Dropping etc. It stops charging the case and your phone which makes you have to pull it from the case. I have had purchased 4 of these cases from older models iphone4 and to now and they all had the same problem. If dropped a certain way it becomes rendered Useless.

I use my iPhone constantly throughout the day and typically work through my battery by early afternoon. My way to address that problem was to put charge cables at home, work and in all my vehicles. That worked for some time but I hated having to plug my phone in everywhere I go. Also I had my phone in an Otterbox Defender which provided great protection but my one problem with that case was its high lip around the screen. Enter the Mophie Juice Pack Plus which has cured my low battery anxiety. I'm very happy with my purchase and it has fixed the two problems I mentioned above. The case provides a great blend of protection and power without getting in the way of actual use. I can now go without charging the phone for an entire day except under the most extreme use. I use the case as the instructions suggest and only flip on the charge from 20%-80% to get the most juice out of the battery. I noticed that most reviews of the case ignore the manufactures suggestion and instead review the battery life extension from 0% up. This case feels great in the hand when compared to a bare iPhone or Otterbox Defender. The black version has a soft touch back which is exactly what I like. Having the black case with a white iPhone looks good and is easy to spot in a dark room. The front, back and sides are safe from general rough landings. The front/screen has just enough of a lip to protect the screen when placed face down without limiting functionality. All buttons are fully functional and click. The silent switch does require me to use a fingernail as it is recessed a little too much. The case can be used with any screen protector. The case redirects the speaker and mic towards you which works perfectly. Gone are the days of cupping my hand around the speaker port to hear something in a room full of people. Now on to the bad. The case is expensive and doesn't include a screen protector! I paired the case with an Invisible Shield which fit great. As usual you pay for convenience and protection and time will tell if the build quality is as good as I expect. The headphone jack port access is poorly though out. I'm barely able to plug in the stock headphones by using my fingernail and have to pull them out by the cord. Mophie does include a headphone extender but it's also poorly designed and extends far past the case. Right now even with the problems I would suggest this case to anyone who uses their iPhone a lot and hates having to plug it in. If the price drops below $100 and Mophie includes a quality screen protector then the deal will be even better.
