One of the best fighting games every praise the graphics of our next gen systems

I have been playing this game almost everyday since I got it. I have already unlocked 200 chests in the tomb and have gotten a lot of specials for the characters. The time towers are awesome. If you want to build up your coins quick you can use the AI and they will win the towers for you. If you are a true Mortal Kombat fan you will not be disappointed and the graphics are awesome.

Mortal Kombat keeps raising the bar for visual fiedlity, storyline, characters, game balance, and fun game modes (towers, krypt, etc). I've enjoyed this game even more than MKX and you won't be disappointed if you're looking for a new fighting game. And now with the additional storyline DLC, you can get even more from this game. Love it!

beautiful graphics, engaging gameplay and an excellent story

This is the first MK game I’ve played probably since UMK3 WAY back in the day. I lost interest over the years and have always been more of a Street Fighter fan. I really enjoyed the Injustice games so when MK11 dropped in price and announced the Aftermath DLC I was ready to jump in and see what the latest entry had to offer. Graphically the game is beautiful. NeatherRealm Studios continues to have some of the best face animations in gaming. The story mode is a fun cinematic ride through the world of MK. The gore is also there, and at moments has me even questioning if I should be playing this. But some things are so outrageous and clever you just have to give it to the NRS team. Gameplay-wise it’s also solid. The controls can be a bit stiff if you’re used to other fighting franchises but once you start to get the hang of the MK system it gets easier to pull off kombos and get in a groove. Overall I’d recommend the game if you’re an MK fan, or even someone who enjoyed the older entries. There’s familiar faces, and plenty of fan service. There’s also a lot to keep you occupied in single player mode if you aren’t interested in playing online and getting beat down like me.

This is another solid addition to the mk franchise. The graphics seem polished from the last mk game and the game play is intuitive. Like the other mk games, once the moves are mastered, it takes the characters to the next level! I will say that the add on purchase requirement to get other characters unlocked is ridiculous. MK has always been one of my favorite franchises but I wont continue to purchase each release knowing I will have to purchase add ons for an expanded roster. $59.99 is already a stretch for a game that doesn't have a lot of depth let alone spending more just to get a complete version.
