From the improved controls, to the amazing graphics this game is a reboot the franchise needed on the next generation systems. The story is the weak point, but you quickly get over it as you enjoy the challenges of online play, towers, and other modes present. But the collector edition is amazing. The statue of svorpion is highly detailed and looks amazing.

Mortal Kombat X is all any fighting game fan could hope for in a video game. If you like fighting games, you have found nirvana. MK X takes the best of new gaming and old-school MK titles and brings them together in one violent, gory, bloody, BEAUTIFUL package. If you aren't a fighting game fan, this game is a perfect place to jump in. Unbelievable levels of kontent (I meant to spell it that way), many differing fighters all with three variations -- making them fundamentally three characters each, and amazing sound, music, and graphical quality. The Kollector's Edition in particular was a given for myself, being a HUGE Mortal Kombat fan. I don't even like Scorpion, but the statue is amazing looking, especially when you really see it for yourself. The box it comes in is awesome, and it comes with the Kombat Pack, which I am still getting free content for, and will continue to for some time. If you have any doubt about buying this game, drop it; your ONLY excuse is if you are squeamish. This game is NOT for faint of heart. More than perhaps any game EVER, this is not just a phrase to hear repeated over and over again. This game is HORRIFICALLY violent.... and it's GLORIOUS. Just buy the game.

MKX breathes new life into an aging franchise. Great graphics, great controls, and all the blood and gore that is this series' trademark. Online modes can be a little rough, but only due to the sheer number of players. There's lots to unlock via the Krypt, and plenty of varied game modes to keep you occupied. Story mode lasts 4-6 hours and has you using a variety of characters. Beginners will benefit from being able to 'pin' the instructions for special moves and combos to the screen during matches, so any one can easily improve. This special edition includes the 'season pass' Kombat Pack, which gives you access to the Samurai Skins as well as the upcoming new characters, including Jason and Predator. The gold Scorpion statue by Coarse looks great, and takes up the bulk of this package. Highly recommended for collectors and fans of MK.

I've been playing Mortal Kombat since the first game on SNES. Mortal Kombat X is my favorite current gen fighting game. It's not as technical or in-depth as Tekken or Dead or Alive, but to me that is a good thing. It's a pick-up and play game just like it was before it made the transition to 3D in Mortal Kombat 4. Mortal Kombat X takes the things Mortal Kombat(2011) did well and expands on them. You don't have to be a "Major League Gamer" to enjoy this game. Mortal Kombat X has a lot replay value with the story, online modes, and living towers. The collectors edition is pretty nice. I wouldn't say it warrants a $150 price tag; maybe around $100-120(Thanks to Gamers Club Unlocked my final price was in this range). The Scorpion statue is well made, but it looks more like Noob Saibot with Scorpions gear.

The Kollector's Edition of Mortal Kombat X comes with the game, Scorpion statue, and Kombat pack (Season pass). The game is of course awesome. It looks great, plays great, has a highly entertaining story mode, and a ton of extra modes and unlockables. The Scorpion statue was made by Coarse, and it also looks great. Also included is a DLC voucher code for a Scorpion skin based on the Coarse statue. Then comes the Kombat pack which grants you access to all future DLC. Upcoming downloadable characters include Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tremor, and Tanya. You will also get a variety of costumes with these DLC packs. A DLC voucher for Goro is also included. All in all, I'm extremely happy with Mortal Kombat X and the Kollector's Edition!

This is one of the few "Kollector's Editions" that are worth the money. The game is awesome, and is one of the best, of not the best Mortal Kombat games ever. The graphics are great, the fatalities are gorier than ever, and the new characters don't suck! I would say it's on par, or better than Mortal Kombat 9. There's also a ton a replay value, not even counting the vs multiplayer mode. As for extra money for this edition, it's totally worth it if you're a fan. You get: An awesome looking, limited edition Scorpion figure. An exclusive, gold Scorpion skin. The $30 season pass. And the Goro download that's easily worth $5 by itself. When you great it down piece by piece, it is worth the money.

This is a great collectors' Edition. The game is top notch; great graphics, combos, the story is a bit comical but we are here mostly for the combos and the fatalities. The Statue is superb; I think is one of the best pieces I've seen. I've got mine on-sale, so it was a great buy. If you can get your hands on this version, you won't be disappointed.

I haven't played the game much, but I want to review the Scorpion figurine for those interested in buying it, if you can find one. The statue itself does feel heavy, and it is well made. The material appears to be that of thick rubber. Though it looks as if the arms and legs are possable, they aren't. It does have a spear that can be hooked to it's left arm. You can shake and move the figure but the spear will not fall off, so that is good. Watch the YouTube video for an unboxing of what's inside this Kollector's edition. I gave it 4/5 stars because, though it is not necessary, it would have been nice if a stand was included for Scorpion to stand on. This is a great product. With the Gamers Club included I got a $150 product for $120. Making the gamers club pay for itself in one purchase. The game is amazing. Great fighting game. The additional bonuses are great. The dlc is awesome. The best part is the exclusive figure. Definitely one of a kind. And the packaging is nice also.

I just love MK series, it's good to have a game again, really good graphics, and play mode, the figure is worth, may be a little bit over price, but I'm a fan

The fighting title is incredibly well balanced and looks amazing. In other words a perfected and well oiled machine, The course statue is excellent. Quality and detail are of the highest quality and the packaging is unmatched. A lot of love went into delivering this edition to hardcore fans. Pick it up!

The game is pretty fun. Felt that i may have overspent on it due to the hype. But i do enjoy the statue and discount i got on it. The game kind f falls short of the game before it. There's no tag team, there's less characters, no babalities, easy fatalities, and a 4 hour story that is less than the game before it. The gameplay is good though, online isnt as glitched as the last one. its worth the $60, but not the 150 unless you want the statue. other then that wait for the Komplate version that will come with the season pass.

A fresh solid kombat system with neatly polished character models as well as stages with an impressive roster of characters such as some returning favorites as well as new ones also each character comes with 3 fighting variations which open up new fighting strategies. Anyway been a fan of this series for a long time so this time I went for the Kollector's Edion mostly for the sculpture of my favorite MK character but addition you get the gold scorpion skin as well as the Kombat Pass that comes with 4 characters(Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya & Tremor) as well as 5 skin packs. Lastly beeing that this installment is a lot more detailed then the last mostly meaning the violence is more graphic MK has always favored for its brutal fighting and gruesome finishers its rated mature for a reason definitely not recommended for youngsters.

NetherRealm Studios has done it again. Mortal Kombat X is a another great fighter with a lot of content. The Coarse Edition is one of the best special editions in gaming. The Scorpion sculpture looks and feels well crafted.

Great item it was what i expected and they said in the promo. Nice box has all the content. I like the amazon exclusive figure a little better because im old bubba, but this figurine shows a different version of Scorpion so i got both. If you go the amazon way *beware* you will need to make an overseas account to play with the downloadable content. Don't forget a little pickled pig feet in your diet.

This game is amazing. I can't stop playing. Also, they are releasing more content in January 2016. This deal was great because you get season 1 for free and a scorpion statue.

For those waiting on a true NEXT GEN fighting game, look no further!!!! NRS has given us all the amazing gift of MKX. Following up on the massive release on last gen systems, MKX steps everything up to 11. A robust story, online modes, and tons of content await anyone who buys this game. I cant suggest this title enough. Dont sit on the fence, GET OVER HERE....and play MKX. This particular version ups the ante and includes a very well made statue of Scorpion by Coarse and includes the in-game Gold Scorpion skin of this very statue. I will admit it was a bit pricey, BUT this was definitely offset by being a Gamers Club Unlocked member.

This was an awesome way to get this game. The statue that was included is of great quality and looks just like one of the characters. The game itself is fun and entertaining.
