This movie deserves it's status as an all time monster/sci-fi classic. It is so weird, trippy and just so well acted for the B movie it is. The pacing may be a little long for those now programmed to be less patient but, if you go with it, it won't fail to deliver. The Blu Ray transfer is pretty gorgeous considering how old this movie is and it preserves all your Saturday creature feature memories. Sound is pretty darn good too with the English dub very clear and IMHO very well done. Fun stuff. Oh and the SteelBook is the only one I have that I actually love. It looks AMAZING.

Another Steel Book for my library. Was greatly surprised with I found it on the shelf. Replaced the VHS copy of the movie I have had for a long time. Was a little disappointed that it was only BluRay, and did not include a DVD version as well. Could have been better if the American version offered captioning. Thankfully the original Japanese did caption into English. Makes me wonder when they will upgrade to 4K, which really should be interesting to see.

All hail the queen of the Monsters. Mothra queen of the monsters is the second best well-known Toho monster around. Monster was filmed in color one of the first Toho films to be film actually in color. Anybody who knows Toho films the classic Gojira 1954 is black and white Godzilla Raids Again also in black and white from 1958. Mothra from 1961 it's a classic film if anybody who remembers this film at all. If you are Touhou fan this movie is worth having in a collection and making it in the steel book is even better. Being that was made in 1961 it's still a lot of miniatures but it is a decent movie and well worth 4 stars. I'm

One of the best Steelbooks I’ve seen, and from a company well known by many for awful releases. Honestly though the PQ/AQ are a match for what I’d expect from a bigger company, the disk includes both the English and Japanese versions, and a great commentary track. Between this and announcing that they are going to release the Ultra series genre fans have something to be excited for.

I've been collecting the Monster movies from Japan since 1972. I've collected (VHS/DVD/BluRay) of the Monsters, SciFy Warriors {Ultraman/ect) and old series (UFO/Invaders).

Prior to purchasing this steelbook, I had never seen Mothra before. However, after seeing the beautiful artwork I knew I had to buy it. And I was not disappointed. The movie is a delight to watch and is a bit different of a watch then that of other kaiju movies, such as Gamera or Godzilla.

What can I say Millcreek has done an amazing job here. For starters this film has never looked better its crisp clear and it will blow your mind also eleven extra minutes of footage from the Japanese release all equals get this right now and let the fun begin.

Excellent old SyFy Movie from the early days of giant creatures attacking humans.

Love this movie from kid-dom. Very happy with this excellent steelbook. Colors are eye popping! Super hopeful this means we'll be seeing the original Godzilla, Rodan and Ghidra in steelbook form How awesome would that be? Pretty freakin' awesome!!!!

1961 Japanese giant monster movie. the Blu-Ray looks really good for what it is. contains the Japanese and US dubbed versions of the film. Picture quality is for the most part excellent sure the print used isn't perfect but still looks good.

The steelbook is very nice, I’m sad Best Buy won’t be carrying movies anymore

Love this edition of Mothra. We may not get the biggest release of special features but this is enoygh for me

Sweet little steelbook of a kaiju classic for only 15 bucks! Included are two versions of the film, the Japanese language version and the English dub. You also get a scholarly commentary which I found most interesting. Recommended!

Mill Creek delivers a perfect blu-ray of classic kaiju film Mothra with both English and Japanese presentations and including the insightful commentary track from the old Classic Media DVD. Very recommended

I have always loved Mothra: her look, charm and protecting and attacking ways! Characters and story are entertaining and the transfer of this 1961 classic is the best it's ever going to look!

I love this film. Haven't seen it since I was a child, and it is still enjoyable. I look forward to more of these Japanese Monster films being remastered and available on the blu-ray.

I have been enjoying collecting all the old Japanese monster movies, especially the steel books when I can find them. I grew up on these movies. A cult classic. Highly recommended.

One of the old school monster movies a classic to watch

It’s exactly what you expect it to be. It is a 60’s monster film. Plenty silly with outdated effects, but it’s good.

And the steelbook art is amazing too! Love the slipcover
