    classic toho film about the best Kaiju of all time. some of the most amazing practical effects work and an absolutely wonderful 4k transfer

    Item arrived damaged, after waiting for it for a month and having to buy it again. Was told to bring it back to the store, just so that they could order it again for me. Decided to just save myself the drive and the wait, was given as compensation $2 for my troubles.

    This is a beautiful steelbook. Very shiny and very bright colors that really catch the eye. As for the movie: If you need a laugh this is a movie to watch. Not that the movie itself is funny, but watching the toy cars and tanks being blown around and the blue glow around the people who were superimposed into the scene is so ridiculous you have to laugh at it. I'm sure it was cutting edge special effects 60 years ago and I'm sure in another 60 years people will be laughing at the movies made now. I would recommend this movie, even if just to say you've seen it. Just don't expect much and you might even enjoy it.

    What's not to like? The birthplace of Mothra in a great blu-ray package for an even greater price.
