This movie brings back soooo many memories........

This movie is an absolute must have in steelbook .

Yes it is silly. Yes the effects are extremely dated and yes the voice overs are laughable but who cares? Its pure fun. It's a spectacle. It's a creature feature. All of these things are part of its charm. If you have children, they will love it as well. If you dont like to have fun then dont watch this. If you do, then you know what to do.

This is one of Godzilla's "Friends". There is no Godzilla in this movie. Mothra, a giant, ancient moth begins to attack Japan when coming to the rescue of its two, foot-tall worshippers who were taken by shipwreck survivors. A story of greed over public safety. Well acted and in English. If you are a Godzilla fan you will enjoy this movie.

You know what you get with this movie - all that is missing is the MST 3000 soundtrack.

Made by the same director who did most of the Godzilla films of that era.Mothra is a nicely done if somewhat cheesy film.The picture and sound quality are somewhat mediocre for blu ray,but at this price it's hard to complain.

From memory I swore Godzilla was in the first Mothra film.. but that was the second... I had just pi kef up Criterions Godzilla collection so after I was corrected.. I realized Mother was a must!! Great looking print and one of the better Toho films .. now where's RODAN... Frankenstein Conquers the World... War of the Gagantuas. . ?

This rarely seen movie is not too bad. I never knew that they made a solo movie of Mothra, the only origin of Mothra I'd ever seen was in Godzilla vs the Thing (or Mothra)

I thoroughly enjoyed all three versions of this film. The US version with commentary was highly informative about not only how it was made but also analyzed what and why certain scenes were deleted from the Japanese version by the American distributors. The prints were beautiful though slightly dark in some scenes. This is one of the best Kaiju films in Toho's Godzilla series.

Anyone who claims to be a fan of Toho and their monster movies have no excuse not to own this! And at this PRICE! The plastic slip cover is also a brilliant way to protect the steelbook from scratches. Makes me wish more would do this.

I grew up watching these movies and to get to see them on Blu Ray is awesome! I have never had a problem with ordering things from Best Buy, I guess that's why I shop with them quite often. Mothra was everything I expected.

Great movie and love the steel book artwork. Alot of times you get some pretty bad modern cgi art with these things, glad they didn't pollute the world with more lazy garbage and went classic style with this one.

Typical Japanese tale. Good triumphs over evil, monster not so bad.

One of the oldest Monster movies of all time is out in blue-ray and steelbook. Godzillas oldest friend Mothra is here again and telling her story that will live on forever.
