I got in a motorcycle accident a few years ago and thought I wouldn't be able to do anything. I really always enjoyed the drones but never could fly them. Then drones became much more stable and wanted to get one. then I got in an accident and it was very difficult to operate control sticks with RC cars let alone, a high priced Drone. well I used this device and let me tell you this. I went under a 22 inch high deck, dark and muddy, 14 feet wide, and the whole way across i went under this deck and out the other side with no propellers hit. Great device. I have improved so much with this. I have 7 of this FPV Combos right now with motion controllers for each and i love them. Best of all, I can di it and do it well. Thx Bestbuy and DJI, both awsome and TotalTech is the best program out there. Everyone shoukd do it.

To be honest I purchased this along with the FPV but after owning it for over a year I have not used it or have I removed it from the packaging. It doesn’t mean I’m not eager to try it. I have just enjoyed the controller that it comes with. I’m also used to holding a controller with both hands.

Great and fun way of controlling the DJI FPV drone. Very easy to use, very fun to use too, and great for beginners. Really does feel like you are connected to the drone in a more personal way. My only complaint about it is that it doesn’t support strafing movement, going backwards, or really anything to do with tricks and acrobatics. It would be nice if I could maybe switch strafing/lateral movement on as button press, ditto with backwards movement. Likewise it would be cool if it came built in with some auto tricks like loops or a true dive option I can hit a button to execute, like how the Tello drone does it. It would also be nice if I could get a special setting beyond sports mode that would let me go the full 90mph like you can in manual but keep with the overall feel of the controller. But otherwise it’s a fun addition if you just want to fly at speed, shoot gaps, take great shots, and generally the closest you get to being a flying superhero for a few minutes.

Makes it more fun to fly, there's definitely less control though. My wife was able to fly easily with 0 experience. I personally prefer the regular controller, but beginners will love this for sure.

I use this for my Avanta DJI drone and it's excellent. Very accurate and easy to use!

This thing is so fun to use. I like being able to fly FPV almost as though you’re flying a plane. Very fun. My son isn’t as amused by it and would rather use the regular controller since you then get full control (higher speeds and flips). This is definitely for pretty basic flight, so don’t expect to do some crazy aerobatics.

It’s honestly really fun; and you can test it and learn the basics in the DJI simulator app. Although I couldn’t enable sport mode in the app. On my 4th flight with it I crashed, the drone was still in air, and it decided to return to home shortly after as my google battery fell out of bag. I suspect this product still has kinks and I’ve emailed it all to DJI so let’s see what the outcome is. Will update later…

Awesome controller to use the DJI FPV. I never went back to the regular controller after trying the motion.

This is the best wait to fly the drone. Once you experience it you no longer want to use any other remote controller. It's very responsive and allows you to maneuver faster around obstacles. Until I am comfortable flying in Acro (manual) mode, I will only use the motion controller to fly the DJI FPV. Please note this motion controller doesn't have Acro (manual) mode so if looking to fly Across you would need the standard remote controller.

Great addition to my DJI FPV drone combo set. The standard controller is good (similar to previous DJI controllers), but this motion controller takes the DJI FPV drone to a whole new level. It is very easy to use and makes flying the FPV drone a whole lot better. The price might seem high for a second controller, but it is worth the money IMO and it adds a lot more to the overall flying experience.

This is a great addition to your DJI fpv drone set up. It makes flying a more immersive experience and introduces any beginner to the sport with ease. It's easy to pick up the controls and enjoy flying with intuitive maneuvers and speed thats manageable and even challenges the advance pilots. Although I think it's too price is a bit much for what it is.

The controller is super easy to use. Tap the red “lock” button twice to start the motors; hold it down for auto-takeoff; double click for auto-land. There’s a Gimbal Tilt Slider on the side, which allows you to position the gimbal to your desired angle. The accelerator trigger is obviously for throttle, and it does allow you to ease into forward motion. And the big feature (in addition to motion control itself)? That big black button. It’s labelled as “brake” – and it could be a drone saver if you’re in trouble. Hit the button and the drone will come to a stop and hover, perfect if you’re having an issue and give it a quick click. It won’t save you in all situations, but it’s a super smart feature to have. Things can happen quickly at 90 mph (154 km/h), and that big button is hard to miss. When you first launch the drone using the controller, you’ll notice right away that – without any throttle – the drone is responding to your inputs while it’s in hover. Twist your wrist left or right on a plane parallel to the ground and the aircraft yaws in space. Tilt your wrist up or down and, though the goggles, you’ll notice that the gimbal angle is changing precisely with your movements.

Feels like you’re flying a jet! The control is smooth and simple. It is NOT for full manual mode so if you’re primarily planning on flying this way, I do not recommend this controller until DJI comes out with an update to firmware.

This is a must have accessory if you want to let someone how does not fly drones to try it out. I let my wife try it and she found it easy. The price is a little steep though you can find the regular controller priced for less which has more features. Overall good but price is a little high.

This controller helps me fly smooth. I feel it is more precise than the remote control and easy to use. Flying the drone is fun, but this adds something different to the experience. I am glad I picked it up.
