This is a must have if you have the fpv quad. It is extremely immersive.

works ok, but after one flight it ceased to work again, just kept beeping whenever i tried to take off, and it never re-centered, and when trying to calibrate it, it wouldn't let me? it's just too inconsistent. also buttons are not very good in a tactile sense, they feel cheep, only the trigger felt right.

If you're looking to just play around, this is a neat concept. However, if you like to go fast and make abrupt direction changes or if you're looking for smooth filming, this isn't for you. I returned it because you can't use it for manual mode and it's just too awkward for me.

great really works good with the dji fpv drone....

The camera gimbal controller is useless. It only controls the camera gimbal while the drone is on the ground. This isn't a broken controller, it's a design flaw that dji is OK with. As soon as you take off the gimbal goes back to the middle position and stays there. I spoke with dji customer service - they say that if I want to control the camera, I should fly with the other controller instead.

The idea is cool. But the overall experience was fair I think this controller should go with a slower drone

My review is entirely based on the fact that I cannot actually use the product. The controller requires the DJI Fly app to 'authenticate and activate' the controller, and as of the time of my purchase DJI's app does not work with one of the most popular cell phones out there...so I can't use it.

DJI Charges $200 bucks for this. Ok, this is kind of cool, but to really get control of the FPV you really should use the regular controller first before even trying this out. This is very hard to control using those buttons, although they seem like it would be easy to find, your blood is pumping while flying and if you hit the wrong button or pull the speed trigger, you might be into the repair shop. I would say this is worth about $100 bucks tops. Oh so I was trying to write this in the title, but check your local Best Buy to see what the return policy on DJI Products is. I have heard they will allow you up to 365 days, other ones I have heard they will not honor that policy.
