The key to obtaining accurate readings is a clean sensor. To clean the sensor, use a cotton swab slightly moistened with alcohol to gently wipe its surface, and then immediately wipe dry using a clean cotton swab. Wait at least 20 minutes to make sure that the sensor is completely dry before taking temperature.

unhappy with this Thermometer, not accurate at all

After seeing all positive reviews, I used this on my baby girl, and it gave different readings every time. One minute it showed my daugther had temperature then after two minutes, it showed normal temperature after couple minutes. And please don't tell me that the sensor might be dirty. This is brand new product that I purchased, and sensor was cleaned. I will need to purchase regular thermometer, which would be more accurate. Save your money!

Inconsistent and inaccurate

Inconsistent Thermometer Readings

How very disappointing for a Motorola product. I grew up with Motorola TVs, have had their cell phones in my adult life, and I thought what's not to like? Was I ever wrong! You can take the same person's temperature. 5 times in a row and get five different readings. Don't buy it. Save your money. It only gets one star because I was forced to pick something. I tried to leave it blank to get at 0 status but evidently that is not allowed

I have waiting long to buy this one as it is good brand and initially I was thinking I don’t know how to use, but reality it is giving wrong readings. My advice is Return within timeline if you feel it is not working in few days only.

Don’t waste your time

Thankfully I had an old fashioned thermometer that goes in the mouth for my kids to use instead. When I cross referenced the temps between the two thermometers this one was always off by more then a few degrees.
