Moto G PLay2024 Great phone at an incredible price

Great affordable basic phone

Screen is bright and sharp. It only has 64GB, but added 128GB SD card for $15 more for pictures. It only has one camera so zoomed and low light pictures look noisy and pixelated. Battery lasts a couple of days with moderate use. I like that the power button is also the fingerprint scanner, so it unlocks fast. Phone updated to Android 14 right after I got it. It is only 4G LTE on T-Mobile, but I don't see the difference compared to 5G It is a good replacement for a lost phone. It didn't want to spend for all the bells and whistles.

Happy with the phone

Battery life is very good after four days still had 50% left. I would buy again.

The Geek Squad was helpful getting things transferred and explaining features new to me. The individual on the phone locked in the sale price at the end of its run so I could still save a few $$. This my first android phone, so I can't compare to higher end phones. But it does everything I want with reasonable speed. The battery is on its third day, still 50%.

The gal at Geek Squad was no help either, I called a salesman at Tracfone and he got all my stuff moved over to the new phone off of my old phone, I still lost all of my contacts, but that is okay I got everything else I had. Phone works very well, but still do not know why I have to have a Google wallet account? Never had to pay for anything on line before, why now?

First ever purchase from best buy

Good for day to day use , online streaming videos , light to medium games , only down side is camera which doesn’t work that good in some settings (lights , environment etc) but if you know your way around cameras and photography then that’s not an issue. Keep in mind this is low budget phone so don’t be too concerned about looks. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and the customer service I got at best buy .
