I'm always skeptical of the prepaid phones. I never expect them to be much. But the Motorola Moto G6 Forge is impressive. It's fast and has a clear, crisp screen. It is especially nice with Android 8 and it's features. The Moto Features are helpful, and everything on the phone and the operating system, "Just Works." I have no idea why anyone would buy a $1k phone instead (and yes I have used them.) The camera is also quite nice, and the features to edit the images are easily accessible. Very nice mobile device in all. Battery life is great. I use it all day, video, voice, music, exercise running, bluetooth, location, etc. Never eats up the battery.

have cricket service and was looking to replace a samsung galaxy phone which had developed some glitches. shopped the cricket website and saw a similar phone for a lot more. went to best buy and got this 1. Great battery life, excellent sound on calls, excellent data service not a lot of bloatware, 16 gb memory to which i added 128gb memory card. comes with a gel case which works well and i got a screen protector. What a phone for the price! BUY IT!

One of the best values of the Cricket offerings. I bought for $99 and had the Best Buy guy activate it for me with a new number. Cricket is like the only prepaid left that will stream in HD on the Max plan (everyone else streams at DVD quality - check the fine print!) and it looks AWESOME on this huge screen. I've watched like 10 movies so far and couldn't be happier. I did run out of internal space pretty quickly so make sure you grab a microSD card which are pretty dirt cheap now a days. I like that Cricket is owned by AT&T and my coverage has been awesome so far. Even comes with a free case in the box!

Great phone .. size is perfect, great phone over all (signal strength, volume, ergonomics, screen). However, due to the fact that it only has 2GB of RAM, switching from one app to another was taking too long. I think the 3GB version that Verizon and Boost would have have been OK. I had to return .. got a E5 Supra instead from Cricket .
If you are a light user.. I recommend!!

Motorola really did well with this device. Nice screen, good amount of RAM so it moves fast, quality camera, and an absolutely amazing 4000mAh battery that will go all day and then some. I have been using it for well over two months with no issues whatsoever. Definitely recommend.

Love the phone, bought extra external storage because the phone takes up a large portion of the 16GB memory. I don't like how you can't put Facebook and other apps on external storage. You do need to go through and turn off all the notifications for all the apps already on the phone or disable them completely. Great for those who already know how to use an android phone but not so great if it is your first one because the instructions are pretty nonexistent. Works perfect with my Cricket account, bought my son one too. Great phone for a great price especially with all the higher-priced phones out there.

G6 Forge Review

bought phone as a replacement phone after family member broke screen on previous phone. phone performs well as designed by motorola despite the excessive amount of bloatware that Cricket pre-loaded onto the phone.
family member takes alot of pictures and so far (3 weeks of use) all pictures have come out clear and crisp without problem.
on the down side, since motorola created the moto g6 in several sizes for different vendors and markets, finding a quality, durable case has become a challenge as the moto g6 forge is slightly different size that the g6 or g6+ or g6 power. (it does come with a basic slip-on clear case.)

Four stars , not five, only because the battery is in accessible and it is always nice to have the vaguest possibility of changing your battery. Otherwise, this phone is great. Good battery life, easy internet connection, apps load quickly, etc. The camera is surprisingly nuanced for such an inexpensive phone. I really would buy this phone again and again.

Ordered this to replace a moto e5 . This is actually a bit smaller, though functions are identical. All the buttons are in the same place, ring volume, on/off....
Yes I would recommend this as a easy phone to use.
The circle on the front tells you how much battery power is left, or if charging how much charge in percents. This is helpful to me as I can tell how much battery power is left simply by glancing at the home screen.

I wasn't expecting much from a $100 phone. Though, I was pleasantly surprised by this phone. It punches above the other phones within its category. Its peppy, fast, and above all, has a gorgeous screen and does not the bloat you'd fine on other phones. I have a Nokia 2 as an alternate, and my gosh that phone is slow as a snail. Anyone looking at the Motorola brand, I wouldn't hesitate and purchase this phone.

This phone is great. It has the latest Android version (Oreo). With the 4000 mAh battery this phone will last you all day and then some. I have to use it to let the battery go down. Can't go wrong with this phone and for 100 bucks it's a steal!

Camera takes good clear pictures. Important for work . Adequate storage for your apps.. I prefer a smaller screen size I believe this is a 5.7 inch screen size than the bulkier 6.5 inch screen

I really like this phone. It has everything I need. I love the fingerprint reader and the processor is great. The only things that I don't like is the storage and the wifi calling doesn't seem to be consistent.

This is a good phone for the price, it looks well built, camera is pretty good, the size is perfect not too bulky. It comes with a clear case which is nice. The system processor could be better, but for the price it's worth it. The over performance of this phone is good.
