After being charged I could pair it O.K. I could hear the callers but none of them could hear me. I had to return it and got the Sliver II which worked out way better for me.

I absolutely love the size and design of this earpiece. But after extended wearing it got very uncomfortable and hurt my ear. The sound vo look u me was just a little on the low side and I strained to hear callers. In addition, those on the other end would complain of road noise and not being able to hear me. It seems the sweet spot, and once I got it there it was great, was very difficult to find and maintain. This has since been returned and replaced with the Plantronics Edge which is MUCH superior.

the best part about this ear piece is that it is so small you don't feel like a dork wearing it. Sound is good, it's comfortable, and fits securely. the only drawback is the battery life of about 3 hours of actual talk time. Motorola was wise to include a charging case, which makes this issue much less intrusive.

Form factor is excellent. Fit and comfort is second to none. Portable charger is very practical. But, this is where it ends. My phone is a Note Edge, and here are my wishlist: 1. Longer battery life. 2. Volume control or at least louder volume for incoming callers. I tend to not hear my caller clearly.

Battery doesn't last long enough. It stays connected when in my pocket because it thinks it is still in my ear. People on the other end say that my voice fades in and out or that I sound like I am under water. It does stay in the ear pretty good and is comfortable to wear.

I have tried a multitude of Bluetooth connections, and the Moto Hint by FAR is the best I have had. Included in my past purchases are: Plantronics Voyager (Good, but bulky), Plantronics Edge (not as good as the voyager, and still bulky), Jawbone ERA (dislike sound quality), Bose (uncomfortable, but good sound), and a couple of others. The Moto Hint is small, discreet, comfortable, and offers good sound quality. I have received the least complaints from individuals I talk to using the Moto Hint. The only complaint I have is that it only lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours on a full charge. It re-charges quickly and easily, but I would prefer a longer battery life. But for something so small, and so many other positive aspects, I choose to not focus on the shorter battery life.

I have bought many products from Motorola over the years and have generally received excellent products whether it be phones on bluetooth devices. The Moto Hint is a good device with good ergonomic design. It is somewhat comfortable in your ear and has a snug fit. Its not the type you would wear if you were active and running about. I paired this device with my Iphone6 plus. I do like the added carrying case which holds extra charge. Just insert the device into the case, and it receives a charge. If you loose the case, you cant charge the device. When you pair the device with your phone, you hear a voice stating the "talk time" of 3 hours. I don't know if "rarely" is the correct word, but I still have to reach near that amount of time before the battery runs out. ...and this is with the phone 2 feet near me. I do however have issues with the sound and signal quality. Both seem to be weak. For the signal quality the signal starts to get garbled as I walk from one room of the house to the next (a distance of about 15 feet through walls) . To solve this problem I have to take the phone with me wherever I go. The signal volume isn't so strong either. If there is a fair amount of noise around you, it might take a bit of effort to listen to the sound coming from the device. As for pairing this device with my Iphone6, I found out later (after the purchase of the device) that most of the great features of this bluetooth device like (spoken commands) do not work with phones other than Motorola X. All in all I guess I could have made a different if not better choice of bluetooth devices. Although the performance may be a bit lacking, I was and still am really attracted to the design and the novelty of the Moto Hint Bluetooth. I would kinda recommend this to a friend, with some caveats....( the price ~$150 vs performance - disappointing at times)

    A Surprisingly Excellent Bluetooth

I'm big into Bluetooth headsets mainly for their practicality. So when one breaks I MUST replace it ASAP. My Motorola Txt broke at the flip end which turned it on and off but it still operated but was annoying because I couldn't turn it off. I tried 6-7 bluetooth's ranging from $50 to $150, sport types to neck bands (which I already have 2), to more "traditional". They either didn't respond to voice commands well or didn't fit well or didn't have my required options such as hearing the name OR phone number of the incoming call. I say "or" because either option works for me as long as I have some idea of who's calling. For some reason I forgot to check Motorola's site during this very tedious process and I must say I am happy I finally did!! The Hint is stylish, weird, and very cool all at once. No I didn't see "Her" so I didn't buy it because of a movie. I bought it because it made sense to me. Yeah the battery life is not the greatest but I have not had an issue yet, yeah the price is kinda steep but it fits my needs AND it announces the callers name! There are 2 types of gels, one that has the piece rest more so in your ear and the other is more noise canceling as it really fills your ear canal to the "your hearing yourself talk" point. I like the latter. To me noise canceling is better and less odd when using a double earset. Overall I love this thing so far and hopefully it will last a lot longer without all the moving parts that most Bluetooth have. I say try it at least once..........ya never know.

Purchased many Bluetooth devices in the past and finally found the right one for comfort. The over the ear devices were awkward wearing glasses and made my ear sore after long use. The three hour talk time is the only small problem, but with the take alone carrier/charger only a small one-

This little gem is awesome !!! You can carry and charge anywhere. Works well with iPhone 6plus. Music, phone and podcasts listen with no issues. Light weight you will not know its in your ear. Battery life can be better but not a big deal. 6 hours stand by time so far. charge everyday big deal. You are closer to secret service status!

I like how the Hint automatically connects to the phone. I like how it comes with a nice charging battery/storage dock. The build quality is top notch. It has a great fit in the ear does not come out unless you want it to. Those are the likes and why I keep it over others. Now for a few flaws... I get connection issues if I connect to my car and the Hint. So because of the issues I had to disconnect from the car and just use the Hint. Also reception is not the best. there are times when I have my phone in a pocket on the opposite side as the Hint, I get a weak signal. You MUST dock it if you want to talk with the handset. Holding it will make it think it is in your ear and it will activate. There are a few times I have been told that I sound as if I am in another room and very soft in volume. The more I use it the better it seems to be. So some of these might be user error.

I'm looking for the best bluetooth headset. My Bose series ii ended up with short battery life. It was under extended warranty, so I took it in for replacement. It sounded the best, though of all literally 8 headsets I have tried in the past. It is no longer offered by Best Buy, though. So I had to switch to this one. At first it seemed perfect, but then over time people told me they could hear me so much better when I talked to them directly on the phone. I use my phone partly for work, so clarify is important. I no longer have that, and I'm tired of trying headset after headset. I'll probably keep this one only because the only good one was the Bose, and I can't replace this one with the Bose. So I'm stuck. I do not recommend this. if you find the Bose Series ii get that. No matter what the reviews say it IS the best one out there (even for $150).

I am enjoying this little blue tooth. The weight is very nice. It was and sometimes still is odd feeling and i need to get used to it again (i do not use it all the time like some do). A surprise to me is that it rarely falls out of my ear, a nice surprise indeed.

I've been looking to get the Moto Hint for a while. I was primarily looking at it for audio but its not that good for audio. Its not too loud and you can barely here's when you're outside. Works great for talking on the phone. Very little, if any, static.

It's pricey. It took a few hours to get used to the feel, but now it's perfectly comfortable. Sound is what you'd expect (not great). Mic was fine unless you are in a noisy place, then forget about using the mic. It is discrete.

I love this bluetooth. Its small, lightweight and easily concealable. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it need some type of audible alarm, so that if you misplace the charging case or the ear bud you can find it easier.

The Hint is very inconspicuous. It sets comfortably in my ear, allowing me the freedom to move around without fear of losing it. Although, I'd like to be able to turn it off without having to place it back into the charger.

This gadget worked well. It had great sound and was very high tech and sleek in design. My only issue was that the charge didn't last as long as I would have liked nor did it stay in my ear secure enough to my liking.
