My 2nd Droid, best camera, screen and no extra junk software. This smartphone is solid and now with the MODS it is awesome. I purchased the phone, the projector and the extended battery. Took trip to China for a week and only had to charge my phone with the extended battery three times. The projector is unbelievable for such a small item, great for viewing photos, presentations, etc. Motorola out did themselves.

Great phone for the price I paid - it was on sale when I bought. Fast and very light. MODs are cool

I was really contemplating whether to buy this as I felt that it might be a fad. When I saw the Best Buy offer of it being only $1.00 when you get a 2-year contract with Verizon, it was a no-brainer, especially with getting the speaker for free.

I purchased this phone after turning in my Samsung note 7. I needed a phone ,so I checked online for reviews and to my surprise this phone received good reviews, so I bought the phone and hoped for the best. I'm very happy with this phone! Very snappy and smooth, no lag whatsoever . It takes very good pictures , not Samsung note 7 great , but very good. It's a keeper!!

I got this phone because my Nexus 6p was having major battery issues and the CPU would throttle to a crawl too often with light use. After 2 replacements with the same issues I got fed up and went for the Moto Z because it was too good of a deal to pass up. I have always been a Nexus user and passed on the pixel as I was not all that impressed and for the XL it felt like a bad value. This Moto Z has exceeded my expectations. It has Nougat already and a near stock experience and the software tweaks like ambient display, chop flashlight, Moto voice has improved on the stock Android experience. Snapdragon 820 and 4gb ram flies and hardly throttles. Display is excellent as it's AMOLED. The size is perfect and it's ultra thin and easier for 1 handed use compared to the 6p. Phone is so light and will cause less wrist fatigue compared to the other flagships. Battery life is alright and I can get a days use despite the 2600mh battery, however I also have the Incipio battery mod for situations the regular battery isn't enough and it eliminates battery anxiety. Only thing i wish was better was the camera. The 6p took better low light shots and I needed to take multiple pics with the Z to get a decent one. With adequate light the camera is amazing and no worse then the 6p. For selfie lovers there is a front flash on this model which makes selfies better then any other phone out there I've seen including the pixel and iPhone 7. All in all this is a flagship phone that was an absolute bargain price. Best phone hands down for anything under $400 and would highly recommend it.

Bought these for Mother and Mother in law. Love the phones. Lots of good features, great hardware. Must have a case though as they are very thin and a little hard to hold without it, unless you're going to use the mods. Mods are great idea. They are a large 5.5 inch phone. May actually trade one for my Pixel.... maybe... :)

The Moto Z droid is a great phone. It is super slim which provides for little discomfort when in your pocket. Even with a bumper case it is still a very slim design. This phone has great display, battery life, and the two included add ons (speaker and backup battery) are great additions. I would recommend this phone.

I have been a long time Samsung owner but wanted something a little bigger that the S7 so I started looking into Moto units and then Best Buy had this deal on the Z Droid. A little different from the Galaxys I have been use to but very easy to get use to. I like the Moto Help app and a bunch of useful features that work very well for me. Camera takes great pictures even with a 13MP camera.

I have the battery and speaker mods. I never have to worry about running out of power during a typical day of use. The speaker is fantastic to have. Wish there was a case option to protect the screen and sides while using the mods. I went with "bumper" edge cover and adhesive screen protector that work okay.

The features are great - display. size, option for additional storage, no learning curve/easy to use and set up right out of the box

I got this pone in the Black Friday deal. After test driving it for a week, I found it just as good as the Pixel I had. So I returned the Pixel and kept this one. I switched from Verizon to Boom and it still works flawless. Nogat update came 2 days after I got the phone, and Lenovo has released 2 security patches since then. Very light and slim.

The moto z droid phone for version is a great looking device. Also if you wanna try its optional mods they are awesome too. I have myself used battery pack and the JBL speaker mods..awesome sound from those. Overall a good buy.

I have had some version of a Samsung Galaxy phone for many years. I decided to get something different this time and I am extremely happy I did. The Moto Z Play is one fantastic phone. Out of the box, it had Android 6. But before I set the phone up, I initiated the update process and received Android 7. The UI skin is extremely close to a pure Android OS experience. The body of the phone is very thin but yet feels good to hold and fits in my pockets well. The hardware is more than capable to perform any task I have thrown at it - no hiccups or delays from normal email and Internet browsing to GPS navigation. The Moto Z's battery is only 2/3 of the Note 4 I had, but lasts much longer - approximately 8hrs or so. And the fingerprint scanner is fantastic. It detects a print immediately and can be used to unlock the phone and authorize actions in certain apps, too. I have not gotten any Moto Mods for it, yet. Right now, there isn't anything that appeals to me. Maybe in the future they will make one that does. After having it for a couple weeks, I went back and bought a second one. If they have it in the store where you are, give it a look. You won't be disappointed.

Great phone, very fast. Friends are impressed with how thin it is. The Turbo Charging is quick - about 75 minutes for full charge. Only issue is the screen is sometimes not as responsive as my two previous HTC's.

I was able to get a great deal on this phone with the jbl speaker attachment included for free which gives it way more battery life, because the phone by itself prob wouldn't last a full day of regular use, which I imagine is why they made the attachments, but still a great phone.

This is a really nice phone! I love how light and thin it is. The mods are cool- I received the speaker and the charger at no charge, and they're both pretty cool. The phone itself is very nice, and easy to use. I'll be interested to see how popular this type of phone is. Great job, Motorola- this is my 3rd one on a row!

I especially like my new smart phone, as it is small enough to carry in my pocket, but yet does so many things.

Screen-Great, Battery Life- Great, Mods-Better than Great, The JBL speaker mode turn it into a fair music player but a great conference phone and gps. Best mutl-tasking phone yet. Calls with Verizon are clear and no dead spots in east half of Wisconsin. Takes pretty good pics too. Can't wait to try the camera mod.

This phone is everything I wanted in a device at only $10/mo on Verizon. Small, quick, beefy 825 processor, adequate memory, expandable, and water resistant. Super thin, though that was not a consideration for me. Camera is better than expected, just couldn't justify an extra $20/month for a better camera.
