Phone works well, fits my hand, it's a little heavier than my Moto X. Good screen size. GREAT battery life.

First let me complain about the product I received. I purchased this on Black Friday as a Christmas present to myself. I did not open until Christmas and guess what? The piece of sh** would not connect to Wifi and the bluetooth did not work. So the brand new phone was worthless, because I saved it for Christmas I could not return it nor exchange it. I contacted Motorola and they had me send in the phone(FedEx, they paid) and they could not fix it so they sent me a refurbished replacement phone. So I pretty much bought a refurbished home. A warning to other test your phone out ASAP. So Best Buy is selling junk phones. As for the phone itself. It's ok, its a phone. I have not used any of the mods so I cannot speak to how they work. Since I use a phone cover, I would find it annoying to have to take off the case just to use a mod. So I probably won't ever buy any. The screen is not that bright. The fingerprint reader is very responsive. I do like the notification screen. I like that I don't have to touch the phone to see the time or to see if I have any notifications. I can simply wave my hand over it. The Moto actions are nice and convenient. If I could go back, I probably would have gotten another phone. This is probably more based on the bad experience of getting a useless phone instead of brand new one.

This so great and thin. Looks good in hands. Excited about mods. Processing is fast, quality is good. Camera is superb. Value for money.

I've had the phone about a month and really like it. The only cons are the different type charger, now all the mini usb's I have wont work, and the lack of a head phone jack. Neither of those are deal breakers to me. I picked up an extra charge cord on online for $6 and I'm watching Best Buy for a sale on wireless headphones. Haven't bought any of the attachments yet but did try a few at the store display, they seemed very easy to use

I originally wanted the Pixel XL, but with it being out of stock everywhere, I opted to then get the Moto Z. The pros are the mods, I have the speaker and the battery mods, and the option for an sd card. The only con I have is there is no headphone jack. A dongle is included, but can be a little annoying if it gets misplaced. Bluetooth headphones are cheap, so get a pair. Overall, I'm happy with my phone and do recommend it.

Great phone. I love Motorola's (Lenovo's...) take on customizing Android - some very nice features, but they don't go crazy (like Samsung...). Insanely thin phone. Decent battery life. Fingerprint sensor is very fast, and I love that you can use it to wake the phone up AND put it to sleep. Camera is OK, but isn't the best (I'd say the Samsung S7 still holds that honor. For now...). It is a little on the "large" size though.

I have the Moto Z Force as well, and although I do prefer the Force model because of the bigger battery, the Moto Z line in general is fantastic. I was nervous about the Lenovo take over, but I have been really happy with these phones. Security updates have been coming in regularly. (The phone is currently at Jan 2017 security level as of today.) The mods are easy to use and easy to attach. Pricing has been fantastic as of late too. $5/month or $120 total on device payment plan.

I'm going from a galaxy s4 and this blows that out of the water! This is fast and sleek! Best phone I've had so far.

The good: 1. Performance , 2. Idle battery life 3. Screen, 4. Moto mods 5. Moto UI which is light The bad: 1. Odd hiccups every now and then. 2. Sounds lacks bass 3. Awkward in hand - Bezels could have been smaller especially at the bottom 4. No capacitive buttons and I hate on screen buttons 5. Gets too hot often

Easy to use. Nice large screen. Battery life could be a bit longer, have to charge it almost every day.

fast, reliable, easy to use (once you figure out some functions). step up from my 4 year old droid maxx.

I absolutely love my phone. It's thin but has a huge screen. The battery life is pretty decent.

This phone is easy to use. It charges quickly . It has a fast response when on the internet.

I switched from a Note 3 and did not notice any upgrades, rather it is somewhat of a downgrade. More importantly, it has frequent playback issues with audio and video files where they stop with an error suddenly. Even Snapchat suffers from that playback issues with snaps being out of sync at times. The camera is also fairly weak and not any better than the 3 year old Note 3. Over software processing is clearly visible in pictures which smooths picture out and detail is not there. 4k video is slightly worse than the Note 3. The only good thing is the finger print sensor being on the front and is very responsive. Snapdragon 820 is fast as expected but the playback issues ruin the experience. The display is good but not as good as the S7. So far I've dropped it 3-4 times on tiles from knee height and it did not get damaged at all without any case which was impressive. All in all, it's an average phone and not worth the MSRP by any means. Would only recommend at a very discounted price.

This phone is powerful......sleek, and yet, handy. I love the excellent battery life, and the turbo charger is freaking amazing....no more waiting around for hours to recharge your battery. In 10-15 minutes of charging you can get enough juice to last a day. The two addons that I received with the phone are quite impressive, although I must confess that I haven't had a chance to use them as often as I should

I've had this phone for about a month now. No slowdowns, it's very quick. The 2K display is sharp and the colors are vibrant. It's very thin but super sturdy. Great phone. I love it. I only wish it had two front stereo speakers.

Great replacement phone for my boyfriend. Good battery life and charges very quickly.
