Back camera have stopped working after 3 weeks and could not be fixed with factory hard reset. Not impressed after very reliable previous experience with Motorola. I hope they will make it up with the warranty.

Needed a new phone, and I really liked the moto mods you can buy for it, plus the price match and that bestbuy actually had it in stock really sold me on it. The screen is pretty crisp for shows or movies. I would recommend the speaker mod for a better audio experience. The base speaker isn't horrible, but the jbl mod is really worth it. There are a few downsides to it. One, no headphone jack, so you need a usb c to aux adapter. It came with one, the thing is tiny and easy to loose. Two, no one locally carries this 5 dollar throw away accessory, so your stuck ordering through amazon. This actually astounded me, since every store had plenty of the iphone aux adapter. Three, it comes with all sorts of amazon facebook twitter apps pre loaded that you cant uninstall. I dont use these things, so it just takes up space. Four, cases are lacking. Again, it's been a more or less online amazon only thing. If you do try for a case, watch the back since most of them out there leave the copper connection exposed, kind of asinine.

The phone is very fast and with minimal bloat except for the Sprint apps. I like that it is very thin and light and like that you can add Moto Mods to it. I like that the fingerprint sensor is in the front.

Love the new phone, great battery life, light weight and takes great pics.

I think Motorola makes the best budget phones. They seem faster than other makes with similar specs. When it comes to Moto Z line, it can't really compete in design with other flagships, although I prefer fingerprint sensor on the front and I love z2 moto actions which turn this sensor into navigation button removing buttons from the screen. I think it'd be nice if it was part of the screen, like a notch with sides filled with app icons or some status bar info. z2 cons - screen - Shatterproof is not scratchproof, have to have screen protector. Moto should have included screen protectors with the phone!!! I like z droid glass screen better. speakerphone could be louder camera? - not tested yet. Z Droid camera had IS but wasn't comparable to other flagships

These are the issues I have, 1. The screen is very very very vulnerable to scratches. When I tried to buckle up in the car, accidentally the seat belt clip hit my phone and made the scratch. The phone was in my pant (actually Jeans pant) pocket at that time. 2. The camera has been crashing very often. When I tried to take pictures of quick moments, this phone was not cooperative. I bought this phone because I wanted to have a better camera than my previous phone. This is why I am giving 3 stars. positives are, Fast processor and good battery

I bought this for 160 dollars +tax. Personally I do not think it is worth 400+ dollars due to its rather big top and bottom bezels. The phone has SD835, 4GB ram, and 64gb internal storage. It also supports micro sd. The POLED looks good as any other OLED, although this phone has plastic rather than glass covering the display. Hence making it shatter proof but very scratch prone device. Reception is good on sprint network and battery life is actually decent despite its rather small battery(2750m amp). It has not much bloat besides the sprint junk apps. Overall, I am happy with the phone because I paid only 160 for the internal specs of flagship phones of 2017. If you can get it cheap go for it!

Blue tooth for hands free great. Tough as nails. Easy to use.

I love the concept of being able to attach accessories on the back of the phone, but it's a useless concept if you need to have a good protective case on the phone. You have less options to personalize than my last phone. It's harder to find files and other capabilities.

Phone dropped in price due to plastic screen with some peeling issues. If you get a screen protector when you buy it, you have no issues. Also, you can peel off the factory "screen protector" when it gets beat up and replace it with your own. Moto modz compatible,,. Flagship processor... Dirt low price. Dual cameras too!

I did not pay MSRP. In fact I paid only 160 for this phone. So my review for this phone is based on the money I have spent on this phone. And this is unbelievable deal considering the price tag. It has same internal spec as samsung's galaxy s8 but cleaner, near stock OS. So far I did not have any issues with this phone on Sprint. Excellent for this price. One thing I do not like is the plastic screen. But hey I only paid 160 for this.

This phone has a great processor, beware of the screen being easy to be scratched.

had this phone as a warranty covered replacement. phone did everything it was supposed to do. The screen was great, the battery was great, the moto mod projector was fun on vacation trips. would have gladly gotten the updated version but it was such a bummer when i tried it out that I replaced it with a samsung after 45 days.

Large screen but slim phone keeps overall case+phone slim so it can fit in a pocket with ease.

No complaints regarding the phone but the battery is too small. It should have had atleast 3000 mah battery. Looks like the smaller battery was put in so tthat the user will purchsse the battery mod. The Screen to Phone ratio could have been better. Other than that.. Excellent phone.

Got this phone on sale, overpriced initially but really is a great phone with how light the skin is, the modular system is really versatile. Not very future proof with Motorola/Lenovo's upgrade track record. Recommend only at a discount pricing (got this sub $200)

Great specs on this phone. It is a wonderful phone that runs all my apps smoothly and snappy. Like everyone else says, you have to find a good screen protector otherwise it will scratch for sure. I recommend a thin plastic one and not a glass protector.

This is a very fast powerful phone and super thin. My only complaint is the "shatter proof" screen is made of plastic and scratches very easily. A screen protector is a must!
