I had put off buying a gaming laptop because I thought all specs were the same. I love this laptop!! I play Final Fantasy, Borderlands, and then games with the grandkids; Terraria, Minecraft, Trove. You get the idea. It is fast, responsive, and looks great too. Well worth the money.

For me, this computer replaced an ASUS G75V. That was a great computer, but this one is so much better! I play World of Warcraft and I have no lag even at ultra settings. It was a definite upgrade!

The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is the problem with the speakers crackling when I first got it. After a whole lot of troubleshooting and updates, the problem is fixed. It is a common problem with MSI so dont be surprised if the same happens to you.

Solid machine. Same specs as my desktop, runs smooth as can be (even with Windows 10). Great screen, smooth graphics, fast boot up. Only gripe would be that it has a dvd drive and not blu Ray.

This laptop is relatively lightweight, and it's easy to transport. The red backlight on the keyboard makes seeing the keys convenient. From a functionality standpoint, this is a good laptop to puchase if you want to edit pictures and videos. Good purchase.

Runs games and movies great and has a cooling system to prevent overheating, only problem is the 3 blue lights on the bottom, 2 of which flicker. But overall great laptop for the price

My stepson, who has been a gamer for quite some time, tells me that this is 'best of the best' in his eyes. We are grateful that the sale associate, Jason, pointed us in the right direction from the 3 computers we had it narrowed down to choose from.

The graphics, uploading and downloading, the connection to even the worst internet is amazing. Also the power of the fan, lets just say its not needed but I just love hearing it.

this is working great for my son's engineering program at school. he can also use the computer to watch movies instead of having a separate tv in his dorm room.

Exchanged out for 1060...thought the virtual ready would be better for same price. Also the speakers didn't work well. Ended up liking this one better than 1060. Going to exchange back

I bought this for my son to replace a Lenovo that started having issue after only a few short months. This laptop had more memory and a better porcessor. So far my son says it is definately a better machine.

I love the colored lights on the keyboard. It's fast and beautiful graphics. Just the right size and features for me.

Pretty good, needed updates when we opened it and needed a lot of the stuff Best Buy pre installs off but I have a friend who's a tech guy who helped me. Runs WoW with 200+ fps

The MSI Laptop Qe62 Apache Pro is very solid and sturdy, very well built. Very fast operating on-line and with any app. Love it!

My MSI laptop works great, it works wonderfully, most of the time. The problem I'm having is that I use Visual Studio 2015 extensively for school, and every add-on is installed to the SSD instead of the 1TB HDD, I didn't realize this at first and the SSD filled to the point where it crashed the computer, and I had to do a factory reset, luckily I didn't keep my work files there, I had them on the HDD like I had planned (and where I installed VS). Currently I'm trying tools to move installed files and program data to the HDD so that I can actually use the laptop as intended. Microsoft is aware of the problem with SSD's and VS, but as always, support is slow coming at best, with "maybe" something for SSD support in the next version. I chose "I would recommend" but with a caveat, I would not recommend this to a friend who wasn't aware of how to do custom installations, filling up the SSD is a bad bad thing.

Looks good, setup well, get i7 6700hq gtx970m 1tb hhd 125gb ssd, but seems all of them are the lowest setting

Purchased for my son who is an online gamer gamer and he is very pleased. The light up key board looks great and extra cooling fan works well for heavy gaming.

Super fast, great for gaming. I wish I could choose the colors that illuminate the keyboard. They change automatically and I can't stop them.
