I have purchased three of these laptops. The first two had identical issues, if they fell asleep, they would not wake up. The only advice MSI could give me was to reload a brand new out of the box laptop. I did, did not fix the issue.. on either laptop. Due to the requirements I have, I attempted to purchase a third in case the first two were a fluke, their serial numbers were barely off more than 4, so it is possible.. The third one arrived today dead out of box. Has an awful smell to it as well. So, I am done trying to buy MSI products, especially after the best warranty service they offer is a 30 day turn around on RMAs and I have to cover the shipping!!! I mean it is under factory warranty, having issues, within a few days old and I have to front the shipping... Done!

I loved this laptop. At the time it was a custom build now it wouldn't be. It did everything I asked of it and more. Only reason I don't still have it is because it was stolen from me December 7 of this year(2019).

This computer runs great, and out of the box, very easy to use. Great graphics, and when had a quick question, customer service was quick,straight forward, and very friendly.

I absolutely love this laptop even more now than when I first bought it. It does everything I want it to and does it very well indeed.

This is a monster it’s like lugging around or a PC without legs it’s horrible it’s too heavy too encumbersome and unless you’re a very strong person you should not consider this laptop there’s nothing portable about it and actually hurts me to even lift it from the package I am still in pain after several weeks

Powerhouse computer, with plenty of storage capacity. I had two 2TB SSDs that i had put in, kept the 512GB and added a 2TB spindle drive. I use this for video work, do not really game. 4K screen is great. Haven't looked at calibrating it yet. I am also adding 32GB more RAM, which is easy and cost effective because their are two open slots. It's a beast of a machine, so know what you are getting. You are not gonna lap this puppy. However, for a portable high end desktop replacement, this is it. One really poor aspect though is the power cord doesn't sit in tightly. It's like a poor man's magsafe. I talked to MSI about this. They claimed it was my adapter, replaced it. Nope. Then they had me return the first computer. 2nd one arrived and same issue. Not sure if this will get worse over time, so I am happy i got the extended warranty with Best Buy. They have always been great in servicing my computers. They are also the ones swapping the drives in and out. I have the total tech package and it's worth every penny, because although I am a computer science professor, i hate opening up hardware.

Had it for two weeks and the screen gave out. Emblem on screen for MSI won’t light up either. Technical support guy even said to return it and get a new one, but I don’t know if I want to risk getting another lemon plus I already put Microsoft office on it so there goes $250.
