Big things in a small package

In terms of functionality with size, this computer is hard to beat. It boasts 16 GB memory AND 1 TB SSD. And yet somehow it weighs just a little over 4 1/2 pounds. In my experience, that’s a rarity. And although the price is up there a bit, it’s perfectly in line with quality gaming laptops and meets (or actually exceeds) my expectations in every aspect. Between memory and SSD, we’re off to a great start. Add to those the additional features and speed of the AMD Ryzen processor and Radeon graphics card, you’ve got yourself a fast and virtually flawless gaming experience. I’ve had no issues with any games or more everyday activities like streaming. And the battery life (especially considering all of the things under the hood) is excellent. The screen isn’t 4K, which at this price point I might have expected. However, since the screen isn’t huge, it’s not really that noticeable of a difference and I don’t miss it, so that wasn’t worth taking a star off for me. Overall, super impressed and having a blast!

I was offered a replacement but declined because I wasn’t sure if the issue I had was caused by a defective unit or an msi issue.

Great gaming laptop!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The MSI Delta hits all the right gears when it comes to gaming: excellent processor, really good graphics card, fast memory, bright screen etc. MSI really thought this through and it's clear to me that they didn't cut corners on components, yet the price is respectable. The chassis is all metal and looks sharp. It is very well built, feels solid, and is very thin for a gaming laptop. Playing Fortnite, I was getting upper 90s for frame rates with everything set to extreme. Everything I've played with this laptop has been smooth motion without any hint of motion blur etc. 240hz refresh rate with 3ms response time is excellent. The power brick is quite large, and the fans do get a little on the noisy side (but similar with other gaming laptops). Overall, this is a FANTASTIC gaming laptop at this price point. I don't think you'll find a better value for the components.
