Customers praise the Delta AMD Advantage Edition laptop's performance, battery life, graphics capabilities, and lightweight design. Positive feedback also highlights the high refresh rate screen and included 16GB of RAM. However, some users note that the laptop can get quite warm and the fans are sometimes noisy. Concerns were also raised regarding the hinge's durability.

Top notch gaming laptop for the price

Right out the box, this laptop looks sleek with the magnesium alloy exterior. The gunmetal gray color is definitely one of my favorites and although the laptop has flex to it, I just get the feel that it is built tough. At only 4.2 pounds, it is more portable than some of the other like spec'd gaming options.
As far as Input/Output options, it is nice to see a headphone jack, 2 USB 3.2 type A ports and 1 USB 3.2 type C ports. HDMI and Display port are a welcome addition as well. I only wish they had an ethernet port! A gaming laptop without an ethernet port now a days? Lame! You will have to carry around a dongle if you would like to game via ethernet. ALTHOUGH, I was getting pretty good speeds on WIFI.
WIFI: 398.97 MBPS DL / 39.30 MBPS UL
Ethernet: 422.91 MBPS DL / 39.65 MBPS UL
When you open it up to use you will notice you need to connect the big battery brick to first turn on. The 15.6" IPS screen is nice with small bezels. Full 1080 resolution is what most gamers need at this price point. What most gamers will like is the 240 Hz refresh rate. Start a game and you will enjoy being able to play most games on higher end settings. I tested this with Halo Infinite, COD Warzone, CS Go and I enjoyed playing on the laptop screen and external 240 Hz monitor that I have.
Keyboard is good but nothing to write home about. RGB Lighting is customizable but there is no individual key control. Automatic update to Windows 11 was nice but took a bit to fine tune after installation and make sure the drivers worked correctly.
1TB drive is great! I feel like for any gamer this is a decent start to getting your games downloaded. 16GB of ram will allow for you to throw anything at it with ease. the AMD Ryzen 7 5800 processor is a good option for gaming and media consumption. Now the AMD Radeon RX 6700M is new but again, I threw a lot of games at this at higher visual settings and I was getting great frames per second.
Is this for you?
If all you care about is gaming with some extra bonus items like great CPU and GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and 240Hz refresh rate, this is yours
If you want to throw away money then you can look elsewhere. But for the specs and the price of this, it will be hard to beat.

Overall a great mid level gaming laptop. Has room to add an internal hard drive and a memory slot for additional RAM. It can run pretty hot while playing some demanding games. However like most laptops it's mainly for convenience. Refresh rate is beyond what I've seen in any other laptop of its comp.

It flies pretty smoothly
Quickest computer I ever had
Battery is decent, graphics better
It has developed an occasional touching sound though... it's rather annoying and i dunno what's caused it because i don't tend to push it too hard

fast laptop runs everything u can throw at it just fine. weak point is the hinges. I rarely move my laptop it spends 95% of its life on a desk without moving. put just opening and closing it over about a year and the right hand side hinge broke. I would say that I'm very careful while handling the laptop and was very shocked when it broke. I haven't looked into the repair but a quick google search showed me I wasn't the only one with the issue.
Other then that I have noticed that it definitely runs hot when playing games so I use fan/ station which seems to help.

I have had this for over a year now with absolutely no issues involving build quality. However.... It gets hot. As in, gives you burns kind of hot. On both the underside and the keyboard but really only when you are playing a game on high to ultra settings. It will get so hot that it shuts itself off. It has the power to run games on ultra but it gets too hot the function. I am still trying to find a better cooling option than the fan pad I have.

This is my first REAL gaming laptop. I had a Dell with 980MX graphics but that was very low end. I was shopping around for something with a 3070 or higher but found this one and I was kind of intrigued by it. The reviews claimed that it was quite the gaming laptop for its price. After taking my time doing my research on this I decided to bite the bullet.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well it handled my games. I tried quite a few things like Halo infinite, Gears 4 and 5, Final Fantasy XII, LOL, Cyberpunk 2077 and more. I was able to play most of those games in high settings but did have to turn off ray tracing settings in cyberpunk to make it playable.
I love the way the keyboard feels but i will say that I do not use it since I have a gaming keyboard and mouse attached.
Please note that there is NO ethernet port on the laptop. I use a USB-C to ethernet adapter
The battery life is wayyy better then I expected. When I was first setting it up, I had it connected to a 65 inch big screen via its HDMI port. I downloaded all sorts of games and played youtube videos during the downloads. It was doing this over WIFI and I thought I had plugged it into power but turns out I did not. I cannot remember exactly how long it lasted but it lasted for quite some time for being on battery and doing everything I was throwing at it.
The screen is very nice for this laptop. Colors really pop and the angles are good on it.
The biggest con here is the noise level. It is loud BUT i got use to it and it really doesn't bother me. It gets hot but it is a laptop used for gaming. That should be expected. The other con is IF you want to utilize the 2nd M.2 bay on the computer you have to take it apart and unfortunately it is a little more involved than most. The mother board on this is upside down, meaning you have to take all the screws and connections off and flip the board in order to stick a 2nd drive in it or upgrade the orginal OS drive. It is not all that hard BUT take your time and be careful. It had a factory seal sticker over one of the screw holes. I verified with MSI that removing it DOES NOT void the warranty. The warranty is only voided if you damage it on purpose/accident/Spills
To prolong the life of the life of my computer, I purchased a cooling pad to keep it as cool as possible. The pad is louder then the PC. I have it set up on a 32 inch 4k Monitor.
Not all games will play at high or the highest settings but this laptop does very well for its price point. I hope this helps someone make a decision if they are looking at this guy. I cannot comment on other laptops at this price point but I will say this was worth it.

MSI Delta 15M - Great Gaming Laptop!

Thrilled with this laptop so far. I was coming from a recently purchased MSI 3050 ti GPU that could not perform at the levels I wanted for high settings gaming. This laptop is a small beast. I would compare it to a PS5 (better in some games) and it will play most games on high/ ultra settings with no issues. I run it on my external 1440p 144hz monitor and it does great. I got into the gaming laptop market so I could take it on business trips etc. Also, this laptop outperforms my friends gaming PCs. I have never had an AMD/ Radeon machine and I was surprised how well the 6700M performed. And the Ryzen 7 CPU is quick! I would recommend this laptop if you catch it on sale and you are looking for desktop power with the ability to take it on the go. Tons of SSD, 16gb RAM, 10GB VRAM, and a 7h + battery if you are using it for office tasks/ web browsing. I saw reviews that mentioned hinge issues and I was worried, but that is what the warranty/ protection is for. No issues on my unit that I can notice so far. Temps seem good from what I can see ( a lot less than the 3050 ti gaming laptop I had before). I also liked the USB Type C port that can be used for display (not charging).
Gaming Performance:
COD WZ 2.0 - Ultra settings - 105* FPS
APEX - Ultra Settings - 120* FPS
Rocket League - Ultra Settings - 240* FPS
Fortnite - High/Epic Settings - 115* FPS
Wo Long - Ultra Settings - 90* FPS
Death Standing - Ultra Settings - 120* FPS

The MSI Delta 15.6" FHD 240hz Gaming Laptop raises the bar for excellence in speed, performance & WINNING! This powerhouse is loaded with the ultimate weapons for competitive gaming:
The latest high performance CPU: Ryzen 7 - 5800H
The latest GPU: AMD Radeon RX6700M with 10GB of VRAM
The 1920 X 1080 screen display measures 15.6" & features a 240hz refresh rate
1TB SSD is huge, fast memory
16GB RAM
Wi-Fi 6E (latest version)
Bluetooth 5.2 (latest version)
Back lit keyboard with changeable colors is easy to see at any hour.
Laptop measures only 0.75" Deep
It weighs just over 4#
No annoying lagging during gaming. Actions are crisp & immediate.
The colors on the screen are intense & accurate. In addition to gaming, I loaded Office 365 & a number of high resolution photographs from my portfolio. It makes a stunning photo gallery display. The screen is bright enough to view outdoors, which is quite an accomplishment.
The only negative in using Office 365 is the lack of a numeric keyboard. However, since the intended use of this powerhouse is for gaming, it actually offers a much cleaner look without a numeric keyboard & features larger keys, which I perceive as an advantage.
In conclusion, this MSI Delta is the top gaming laptop available today & is attractively priced compared with other competitive models. It earns my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Great gaming laptop! I’ve never used a laptop, I’ve only ever had a tower, but I have kids now so something with a little mobility is great. The only thing that bothers me is the amount of heat it generates which isn’t a hard fix and it’s great in the winter. When I bought this the first game I got was cyberpunk 2077 and the game runs great on near max settings. I did have an issue with serious coy usage but it was a driver error. Quick uninstall and detect device setting and all is fixed.

The computer does what i want. I upgraded the RAM immediately, and that was painful. You have to dissassemble the entire thing to get to it. The RAM is in the middle of the board facing up, the connections to the monitor, keyboard, touchpad, and speakers limit overall movement requiring badically all of it to be unplugged, then the motherboard to be rotated around the monitor connection. Lastly, the wifi antenna is run through the board meaning it also needs to be disconnected to spin the while motherboard around. So everything needs to be disconnected to replace the RAM, or SSD. Id recommend if you plan to upgrade RAM, or upgrade/add an SSD, do it all at once to save disassembly and reassembly time and reduce possible connection breakages. Make sure you know which coaxial cable goes where for the antennas and you’llbe fine. The laptop has poor circulation. If I’m using it for gaming with an external monitor, I have to prop it up to allow more air under it to keep it from shutting down on high temp. I use it as a portable gaming PC, so its always used with an external monitor.

This has a nice and solid build. It doesn't feel too cheap. The graphics processor is satisfying. I have played a few Ubisoft games on this without any hassle and I have streamed the games with great FPS. The charger is bulky but the laptop is very sleek so I have no complaints.
I haven't tested the battery life, but so far it's been better than my previous gaming laptop.
Cons: It does run a bit hot so you might want to invest on a cooling system/pad.

Got it on sale. Powerful as heck. You don't need anymore powerful laptop. It runs AAA titles at 1440p on medium and 1080p at max while hitting 60 plus frames per second on 1440p and 120 plus on 1080p. It stays cool enough. Batter will last about 4 hours doing normal tasks. Screen is the best I have had on a laptop. Overall, great machine.

If you're skeptical about spending $1,599, I completely understand, but this computer is SO WORTH IT! It's so fast, it's sleek, it isn't heavy. I'm using it for gaming, and college and it does absolutely everything and more that I need. GET. THIS. COMPUTER. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

I'm not a gamer by any means, but do like to play occasionally some online games. I bought this laptop for a general all round school, some simple video editing, DJ with Serato DJ Pro, Gaming, web surfing machine. The reason I was looking at GAMING laptops is because they tend to have the specs for all round usage.
This has not disappointed in any aspect! It has run flawlessly while having great battery life for simple things. I chose this particular model because of the all AMD system and its looks. Doesn't give off the GAMER-ESQUE look. It has a professional and premium look to it.
All in all, I'm impressed with this laptop and how thin it is as well! I highly recommend this one for anyone looking for a "do it all" computer.

So far only issue has been the drivers needing a lot of updating & performance is great. Can get pretty hot but that’s just a part of gaming on laptops. Battery life off the charger is phenomenal just don’t forget to turn the refresh rate down to 60hz. Overall would recommend!

Lightning fast pc. I was able to install windows 11 via usb install in under 2 mins. Display hinges are fragile, you’ll want to open the display/lid with both hands from the sides. Try to pair this with a 240 HZ monitor. Laptop has hdmi and usb-c display outputs. Be sure to use MSI Center to tweak battery and fan settings. Pc specs are great; I have no plans to upgrade the hardware. Pair an RGB gaming mouse (I.e. Razor) with this laptop will look great with the backlit keyboard. Be sure to register this laptop to increase warranty by 3-months. No regrets on this laptop! Enjoy!
