Customers praise the Delta AMD Advantage Edition laptop's performance, battery life, graphics capabilities, and lightweight design. Positive feedback also highlights the high refresh rate screen and included 16GB of RAM. However, some users note that the laptop can get quite warm and the fans are sometimes noisy. Concerns were also raised regarding the hinge's durability.

Excellent laptop if you can get it for a discount. Looks very professional and can be easily used for both work and play.
Pros -
1. All metal chassis
2. Looks amazing in the gunmetal color
3. Decent Screen
4. Performance (Non RT)
5. Amazing battery life! 11 hrs!
Cons-
1. Flipped Motherboard (Understandable as its a thin laptop.
2. Speakers get decently loud, but sound mediocre and muffled at high volume.
Now the 2 BIG CONS for me -
1. The metal chassis gets really hot in the top vent area above the keyboard and the back of the laptop when used in either ultra performance profile or balanced profile for gaming. This is still ok and acceptable, but, my major issue is that the keyboard area becomes uncomfortably hot in a prolonged gaming session and you feel your fingers burning.
2. My second major major issue and probably the reason why I am planning to return this laptop is that NONE of the USB-C ports have power delivery. This basically means that you absolutely need to carry the bulky power brick if you want to charge this laptop. this is a mjor bummer if you want to use it for work.
Finally, the delta 15 is an excellent laptop for price to performance ratio if you just plan to game, but having no USB-C PD at this price point and for such a good work/play laptop is just downright disappointing. MSI! What were you thinking!

I am a certified tech and tend to be pretty picky when it comes to laptops. I've had practically every make and model over the years...the good, bad and ugly. This MSI Delta is a complete winner.
I've had it for 3 months and live with it for both work and play. After some initially irritating warts with the occasional BSOD moments (driver-related), it has become a really killer machine. Here are some highlights:
*Great high refresh rate screen that is bright to my eyes
*Incredible battery life - at full brightness, I get almost 8 hours
*Good, but not epic keyboard.
*Radeon RX6700M is a very capable video card
*Chassis does not fingerprint easily
*Very light and easy to transport to and from work
The one big negative that's been covered by others is the difficult to upgrade chassis and motherboard layout. I haven't breached the cover because I haven't had a need to, but upgrading virtually anything requires a finicky flipping of motherboard as that's where you'll find the ram slots/SSD. This wasn't a problem for me as I'm fine with the hardware as it was configured.
My advice is that you grab it for $1299 when it's on sale like I did back in November, then take the time to get all of the latest drivers. Once you do, you'll have a powerful work/gaming laptop with battery life to spare.

Powerful enough for past , current and future gaming. Laptop has silky smooth 240hz refresh rate. Freesync 1080p, 2k 144hz to external monitor using the dedicated 10GB GPU. Keyboard is fine for me even though I use a high end MSI external one. Upgradeable to 64GB ram and one more M.2 hard drive. Some of the other high laptop come with soldered memory not this one.

Picked one of these up as a gift for a friend when it was on sale for about $900. Runs well, if a bit hot (such is the nature of higher end gaming laptops), but runs the latest games like a champ. Runs CoD MW2 multiplayer well above 200 FPS on the 1080p panel, and runs Sons of the Forest (modern Unity engine title) at around 70-100 FPS on a mixture of Medium and High in game settings with FSR enabled. It handles eSports titles like a dream. I gave it only 4 stars, but I'd realistically give it a 4.7 if I could. My only gripe is that I think this should've shipped with a higher end processor so that it can meet the panel's max refresh rate of 240Hz easier, but I'm very impressed by this thing's performance as is and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get a gaming laptop without dropping thousands of dollars. I'd certainly get this when it goes on sale.

So far I can't complain with this laptop. Starts up in no time at all. It runs everything super fast, multitasking is a breeze. I don't actually use it for gaming, it is used for graphic design. I haven't owned it that long to give a thorough review.

It’s a powerful laptop. But the hinges can be very frail. Luckily MSI took it in and fixed that issue free of charge!

Wow this thing is a beast!!! Make sure you take the time to set everything up right. This is better than my desktop with a 2070 super haha. Got on sale for 1300 which is a steal! If you want something fast with incredible graphics and lightweight, this thing is for you. Keep plugged in and battery life won’t be a problem.

The laptop has treated me great ove the last year. I've had no issues playing the majority of my games at medium to high settings. I also use it as my daily driver so it gets a lot of use (8-10hrs a day). The battery still lasts most of the say with just normal use and a few hrs with lite gameplay. I like that it's not super bulky so it's easy to transport.

First, if anyone bought this at the $300 discount, would you mind sending me a copy of your receipt (you can blank out all your personal information). I bought it at the current price just over 2 weeks ago and am trying to get a price match guarantee. :)
Product review:
I've been using the laptop for over 2 weeks and so far it is matching up to the online reviews really good. I'm an old school gamer and played everything from the first Half Life and FarCry to more current games.
On gaming this laptop performs as expected with the 6700M. At decent quality settings in FarCry6 I experience no lag and the fans run but aren't screaming. The heat generated is also relatively low.
Colors are vibrant and the screen looks really great. Good color matching to the industry standards.
Screen stability is not an issue, when typing or even when playing games.
I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality (using a USB headset with virtual surround) it sounds really immersive.
Very little bloat ware .. the normal AV and Office product.
Overall so far a really good quality, well made decently fast gaming laptop.

I've had this laptop for several months and it has handled everything I've thrown at max or high settings. As others have said, the area just above the keyboard can get hot to the touch but so far no issues. Also, the fans can get pretty loud under load but no problem when using headphones.

Plays Elder Ring maxed, GTAV, Satisfactory, Doom Eternal, BeanNG, KSP, Ancestors The Human Odessey, The Division 1 & 2, Tom Clancy GR breakpoint & wildlands, Grounded all Maxed out. The only simulator that can bring it to its knees, is Univeral Sandbox 2. But that isn't really a downer as there isn't a PC on the planet that simulator can't break.
Comes with Wifi 6, which it has good range, compared to other laptop's that cant even see some SSID's.
No issues so Far.
It does get Hot for those of you with heat sensitive skin. A
laptop cooler highly recommended

My first PC! I converted from Mac and it’s been great to play all my favorite games in this quality at the speed and frame rate this computer offers. I play a lot of Sims 4 and it runs effortlessly.
Other games that run super well for those of you reading: Diablo 4, Conan, House Flipper…
