Customers praise the Delta AMD Advantage Edition laptop's performance, battery life, graphics capabilities, and lightweight design. Positive feedback also highlights the high refresh rate screen and included 16GB of RAM. However, some users note that the laptop can get quite warm and the fans are sometimes noisy. Concerns were also raised regarding the hinge's durability.

Super fast, typical. One big design flaw.

Like the title, I loved this thing until the laptop hinge became less flexible, and snapped off the thin plastic they were screwed into on the screen case. Lasted me two years, now trying to make the computer last as long as possible because the hinges are notorious for this, so it’s not even worth fixing outside warranty.

Very low-key and slick design. Really nails it in performance for everything you feel like throwing at it. The screen is also buttery smooth and colors look nice. Doubles both as a home workstation and a portable device if you need to use it in the classroom, airplane, you name it.

    Worthy upgrade from 2018 laptop

I have no complains, it works fine. Used to have a Razer Blade 2018 and very satisfied with this upgrade in terms of "lightweight gaming laptop" At Linux have some minor issues but works good by default using latest kernel (5.14) as supports AMD SmartShift and AMD Sensor Fusion. There is no mux. For good or bad, both USB-C and HDMI are wired to AMD 6700M instead of internal GPU (Cezanne). - At good side, it provides better performance playing on external displays. - At bad side, any external monitor will force 6700M to remain on, causing extra consumption. While I don't believe much in benchmarks, I can do Raise of the Tomb Raider on Linux. Running the benchmark: - All maxed, 1920x1080. SSAA x4: 54.19 FPS. FXAA: 90.41 FPS - Very high. 1920x1080. SSAA x4: 64.66 FPS. FXAA: 99.11 FPS

I have had this computer for a few weeks and so far I have been extremely happy with it. It runs games like destiny 2 very well. When doing simple tasks like web browsing and Microsoft office the computer is super fast and runs quiet. I only gave four stars because of the hinges. The screen does not feel super secure and I make sure to be extra careful when opening and closing.

    Powerful but UX issues

Less techy overview. I really did not like the plug-in. It seems to fall out consistently. Cheap casing and quite a bit loud. Gets hot even on older games. The speakers are extremely bad I can barely hear them over the fan sound. With all that said it is powerful it does work as intended while playing games. For the price I couldn't find anything much better but I'm sure there's something comparable out there with a better build and without the issues listed above. Still debating whether to return it or not I'm about 60/40 on keeping it.

This is my first gaming computer but I think it runs pretty great for the most part. I say for the most part because when I’m streaming on Twitch, depending on the game, my computer will freeze a bit. The price is a bit much but it’s worth it.

Amazing. I hadn't realized how far gaming laptops have come. My desktop had seen far better days and it was time for an upgrade, but I hate the space that desktops take up. Looking for a laptop, this came highly recommended while on sale. This delivers incredible power and gives my desk a ton of room to breathe. I am more than satisfied with 1080p and this machine delivers maximum 1080p gaming on modern titles. Resident Evil 8 (Included with my purchase) in particular is a showstopper. Fantastic performance all around, and is also great so far in linking to our Oculus Quest 2. SSD boots Windows super quickly and apps load instantaneously. Highly recommended. If I had one knock against it there is some backlight bleed on the display (Which is otherwise fantastic as well, that refresh rate feels awesome) but only noticeable in dark screens.

The laptop itself feels pretty solid. Windows 10 was on this when i got it. Eventually I'm putting Linux on this cause Windows 11 is just a flat out downgrade at this point. Seriously I get others LOVE Windows and I did till 8. Down hill after 8 hit the streets for me. The biggest complaint I have about the laptop is not the software since I can easily change that. The biggest problem I have is the ability to upgrade this laptop. While there's space inside for another M.2 drive and changing the memory it is not easy to get to. MSI flipped the motherboard in this thing so you have to pull it out to get to those components. My old Acer had a compartment access on the bottom I could unscrew and replace memory and storage easy without even pulling off the whole cover and yanking the motherboard. While this laptop is nice MSI could have done a better job on the design of the internals to make upgrades a lot easier. If MSI had kept the memory and storage on the bottom instead of flipping it under the keyboard this could have been a near perfect system. Even more so if they made access points in the laptop that could easily be unscrewed to replace memory and storage options. I'm docking a star for that, really tempted to dock two though just for making upgrades so difficult. Don't look this device as something you can easily upgrade down the line. Find a better laptop then this. If you just want something to game with and toss aside down the line instead of tinkering/upgrading then this will work fine.

Got this for the Black Friday deal. Mainly got it for playing VR games and development. The check from Steam shows this build is more than VR ready which is awesome. The fans can be a little loud at times, but otherwise doesn't bother me. Display is great. Sound comes from underneath, which is weird to me, but once you set up the audio software it works wonderfully. I also love how sleek and light this is. I played a few PC VR games and they ran normally. I paired with an Oculus Quest 2 over Virtual desktop and wifi and it ran without issues. Pretty impressed so far. One downside I've heard is expanding memory will be difficult as they sit under the other components. So when it comes time for that it will be a pain. At least out of the box this is good for me so far.

What drove me to buy was not only the AMD CPU/GPU combo and their smart access memory but the aluminum frame also. I dislike spending a lot of money on something laden with plastics and the weight and feel of this definitely doesn't disappoint. I have not compared the performance difference without the sam activated but have been pleased with a solid performance in some gpu heavy open world games and working with a full version of AutoCAD on large architectural and construction drawings. Yes the motherboard is inverted so not easily upgradeable but if the performance suits your needs there's no reason to open it up. Does run hot but is to be expected with thin form factor laptops and the temps remained stable during heavy use and long sessions.

Handles everything i need it too, and is not as flimsy as some of the reviews made it seem. If you throw your laptops around like theyre made out of steel of course they’re going to break. However if you treat them with care most devices hold up well.
