Overall amazed with the laptop...not sure I understand the whole SSD/ hard drive split yet...only gig to date

Let's start at the beginning. The price for this kind of gaming laptop is very good. It arrived more quickly than advertised. It was well-packed and the box was sturdy. Unboxing this beast was a thrill. It looks very sharp, but not ridiculous. It loads very quickly and has lots of hard drive space. The amount of memory means it handles everything I throw at it. It plays the newest games at the highest settings, and the sound quality of the speakers is very nice. It also handles more mundane tasks like Adobe and playing media with ease. I love that it has a CD drive; I still need it. Everything updates nicely, and I have had no issues with the Windows 10. The keyboard and case feel so sturdy and durable. I am really enjoying this laptop, and would recommend it to anybody.

I was looking at others buy this one was the one had it for more then a year im actuality typing this review with it runs all my games with no difficulty I get awesome display runs gta 5 like i never seen makes you wanna sit and play tell you give out im stuck with msi for life i love this great product and of course the best buy employees took there time looked at 5 others but yeah if you want a pc for mods or anything else this is the one.

I purchased this laptop to play Ark Survival and normal office type work. It has NO problem handling just about any office work i can throw at it. However, it does have one fatal flaw if you want to play a large game like Ark Survival (43 gb)....the SSD is WAY too small. Out of the box the laptop only had 53 gb of free SSD storage space after all windows and driver updates. Tack on a 43 gb game and you are sitting on roughly 10 gb of space for any other programs. Yes, it came with a 1 tb HD, but this does nothing for programs as they need to be on the C drive (SSD). Now, i cannot install Microsoft Office or any other programs without running of of space. In summary, purchase a larger SSD for this setup and you have a monster, extremely powerful laptop that can handle it all. I rated it two starts because it's advertised as a gaming laptop, but cannot handle anything more than one game.

I was told this was best in line after 15 hours of video editing for a wedding, speakers became distorted! !,if you Google it this is an issue and has not been corrected, wish I read reviews prior, to building a wedding video that now had to be deleted to return the laptop!
