I've had the laptop for about 4 days now and it's run anything I've thrown at it. The display is crisp and clean; the 120hz refresh rate is awesome. I've been running Gears Tactics on 1080p Ultra with phenomenal performance. It runs like a dream. Blazing fast load times are nice too. That said, there are a few trade-offs to this. First, the bottom of the case is plastic while the rest is brushed metal. Second, the fans can get pretty loud and only have one exhaust port. It works well, but expect noise when gaming. It's pretty quiet when just browsing the web, etc. Bluetooth connection seemed weak, too. It was easily blocked, at least with the headset I used, which had been fine otherwise. Lastly, the speakers are on the bottom of the laptop. This makes the doing quality sub par overall.

I picked this laptop to let me game on while traveling over the next couple of months. I had a budget, though, and couldn’t drop a ton on a new computer. I’ve had this MSI for a few days and it’s really a beast. The battery life while gaming is only decent, but the i5 processor is more than competent, and the RTX 2060 is the best gpu you’ll get at this price point. It has M2 expansion slots for additional memory and an empty ram slot for an additional 8gb card. That does mean it isn’t running dual channel out the box, but it is easily upgraded later. The overall build quality is decent too. It has a lot of brushed aluminum panels while the bottom is plastic. There is some wiggle and flexing in the chassis because of the mixed materials and isn’t super sturdy, but it is reasonable for the price. The laptop can get loud when under load. It isn’t obnoxious, but you know it’s running. Overall, this is a pretty solid buy.

I bought this laptop for work purposes and gaming and I can say this computer is worth your cash! It takes some time to get used to I must admit; but the computer is quick, can connect to your tv if you have Roku programmer into it, and is amazing with graphics for games, 3D modeling, and drawing!!!!

I will have to admit, I used MSI products before, but not a whole pre-built package. It works out of the box real well, as I was setup and on Steam in just 20 minutes. It has two USB 3.1 ports, two USB-C ports, and an HDMI. My only wish is that this model could have an upgraded CPU. Otherwise, wonderful piece of hardware, would definitely buy it again.

MSI GF65 9SEXR-249 THIN Review. Great Laptop! Tends to run on the hot side with heavier gaming (Duh) but as long as you have a cooling pad and/or balanced power settings. ( I undervolted) then all is fantastic! I briefly purchased Asus's Like model and almosyt as promptly returned it in exchange for this model and after upgrading to 16gb memory/Ram I have NO complaints. P.S .. My son loves his new gaming laptop, the only complaint he has is the battery doesn’t last long when unplugged. He’s happy with it!

Computer has been great with no problems and can with stand a clumsy child.

Love it, this is my first ever laptop and so far has not let me down :)
