I bought this unit and was surprised to see that the 16GB is SHARED with the 6GB supposed Video GTX graphics. My System Info lists 16GB of Physical Memory, BUT ONLY 9.7GB of Available Physical Ram.... hence the nvidia GTX is using 6GB of System RAM, it does NOT have its own RAM as I thought, as suggested in Overview

eh, resolution is fine, struggles with graphics...battery is terrible. What more can I say.

Amazing product , high FPS and great processing. The keyboard is not RGB just red.

playing games with cooling fans set to max the processor temperature still goes up to 95c-98c. Researching the options on many forums things like cooling trays, cpu undervolting apps, changing max processor state % in the os power options, or repasting cpu thermal contacts on motherboard with better paste or even waiting weeks for warranty repair are all things a brand new out of the box laptop should not need. Even if its stated to be normal temps by some its too much heat n the laptop won't last 2ys of heavy gaming. Returned it a few days after getting it. Gamming laptops mostly just "look pretty" though run too hot to last long term. Gave it a chance but going back to building a custom tower like the last 25yrs since I really don't need mobility.

This is the second MSI laptop that we have owned and this experience is just as good as the last one. This computer has very nice graphics, the MSI software is fantastic for automatically downloading ad upgrading drivers, so you always have the latest and fastest performance. The startup time is almost instant, both when starting from being turned of, and when starting games like WOW. I have a Lenovo laptop that I used before this and was ready to completely stop online gaming because I thought the way that it performed was just how computers performed on the wifi network that we have. The first time I used my MSI I thought maybe it was just a good day, but now I have used each of them on the same network at the same time and the lag and delay from the network that I see on my Lenovo is completely non-existent on this computer. It is an extremely nice introductory level gaming laptop and I like it so much that I am buying another one for my son.

This computer is amazing, very fast and the backlit keyboard is perfect
