Laptop is good but the upgrade path was removed in new sold items it has the area for a 2.5” drive but removed the connections i had an earlier version. Ram is easy to upgrade max is 32gb. So if you need to you can always swap out the m.2 (m.2 2280) and the ram(So-Dimm DDR4 3200) the screen is dimmer than I remember. Your results may very i us it for CAD and some light gaming
