First time I’ve ever owned a laptop by this brand and I must admit it has been quite an amazing machine. The price is great for what it comes with and it’s easily upgradable so if you need more memory it can definitely accommodate.

Performance wise it was one of the best laptop in this price range. I do most of the data analytics and simulation kind of works, pretty heavy on most of the laptop but this one handled smoothly. 1 star less because of the battery life. It could be better.

It's really fast! I love It, but battery runs away very fast :( like 2 hours... I don't know if i have this problem or it's in general...

I'm a college educator. Our learning management system uses a lot of computing power, and I often have multiple windows open. This laptop is performing beautifully! Super fast to load modules and assignments, and transition between websites is lightning fast. The laptop runs quietly, with no loud fans. That's a bonus during meetings!

Bought this laptop to replace a 10 yr old ASUS. Wow, this thing is fast! It's ready to go in a few seconds after turning on and never slows down. It runs very quietly and I rarely hear the fan even when streaming movies. I'm not a gamer and never heard of this manufacturer before but was told they are one of the best gaming laptop makers. I bought this MSI for the Intel Core I7 and 16GB Memory hoping for great performance and I am not disappointed.

Only box this didn't check for me was dedicated graphics. Not a gamer, but use graphics intensive programs. Still a great laptop for most/many users. Great for multitaskers and a decent amount of more demanding applications.

Excellent laptop. I installed Debian (Linux OS) immediately after I bought it and this device has been reliable and performed well (for work) on a regular basis. I've even done some light gaming on it and it held up alright. I bought it on sale but it's probably worth the full price.

Great purchase, fast and reliable, the screen is great in outdoors with sunlight. Really capable of multitasking, and quiet as well. No over-heating. Amazing laptop for the price. Only lacks a graphic cards if you need heavy graphic programs or to play AAA games. Good battery life for such a high end laptop.

I got this laptop on sale to replace my HP. MSI isn't as big of a player in the marketplace as the others, which is why I think they went above and beyond with this machine. I must have spent hours comparing dozens of laptops within this price range and I am so happy I found the Modern 15 with the Intel i7 11th generation chip. This machine is a great mix of size, speed, graphics, audio, weight, and durability. This is by far the best machine I've ever had. The only con I've found is that the fan noise is a little loud.

very lightweight, thin and powerful! My daughter has an MSI gaming computer and I have looked at their laptops for everyday work for years. I decided on MSI over the others and couldn't be happier.

Fairly high powered laptop for the price. Only negative is the battery drains rather fast. I've been getting 2-3 hours of battery, slightly more if you turn on the high efficiency mode.

I just loved it. Powerful, fast and responsive. love the keyboard. It was a great deal, to get such powerful laptop at an incredible price (it was on sale). I don't play games on this laptop, or major editing, but its fast and responsive. It came with a case to store it and is light and compact.

I ordered this online and picked it up in the store. I thought it was going to be heavy considering the size but i was surprised because it's really lightweight! When i opened the laptop, my oh my, the screen is wide! The graphics and speakers are a 5/5, though the camera isn't that good but i don't really mind because i'm not gonna be using it. The keyboard also types smoothly. I showed it to my cousin who is a tech savvy and was also impressed with the specs and is already thinking of buying it!!

ease of use good. not a gamer but was talked into a product made by a company that is known for gaming computers. overall quality so far seems worth the price. i guess the best answer is so far so good.

This is my first MSI computer and it exceeded expectations. This computer is fast. It contains the latest generation processor and enough RAM to keep those Chrome tabs going lol. I wish it had more space but a 512gb SSD is enough memory for what she needs. Touchscreen capability is overrated and I'm so glad that MSI neglected that feature in favor of great hardware. I wanted a laptop that should last a few years and I think I found it. By the way, the webcam is disabled by default but you can press the webcam button the keyboard to enable it.

Very nice quality feel and is fast, efficient and lightweight definitely worth the price, bang for the buck with thunderbolt, upgradable ram, love it.

Excellent quality product, originally purchased the version with the i5 and 8gb of ram, ended up exchanging it for this one which is $300 more. Quite an impressive upgrade and has amazing build quality. Nice lit keyboard, nice weight, quiet and durable. And also super slick design. This laptop is an absolute bargain and smokes the dell Inspiron series in budget high performance PCs. Won’t leave MSI after this point

I’ve had this new laptop for about 2-3 weeks now and I’m very satisfied which the purchase. I needed a much better performing laptop than my previous to especially handle my classes that deal with analyzing mock digital forensic files which took my previous i3 processor numerous hours to complete and even had to let run overnight. I haven’t had a large file to process just yet with the MSI but it did process a small file in under 2 minutes which would’ve taken my i3 at least 10 minutes to perform the same task. After I realized this, I knew the purchase was worth it. The 16 gigs of RAM is almost unimaginable coming from 8gigs in my former HP. If you’re looking for a long term computer that will perform (real processor taxing software not just surfing and checking email), this is a great buy especially if you catch it on sale. The start up time is a matter of a few seconds which is noticeably faster than what you may have previously experienced. I took a chance with this laptop only seeing a couple of reviews available but they had 5 star reviews and described an impressive experience. Invest in yourself and go for this laptop especially if you need solid, well above average performance.
