    LHR Still Great for Gaming

Still games like any other 3080 despite the LHR. 100+ FPS on most games in 4k max settings. Stays cool and quiet. As far as I know, the LHR debuff only applies to ETH mining. Got a peak of 51MH/s for ETH after tuning the memory. Ravencoin seems to be unaffected by the LHR. Overpriced for a 3080 but still happy with the purchase.

Runs hotter approx 15°C and uses approximately 20 more Watts than a 3090 FE all for a $700 mark up over Nvidia MSRP 3090FE... this has almost The Identical build quality of the Gigabyte 309O gamer Edition. It's as if they're off the same assembly line, same cooler design, similar shroud with just different fans & plastic DNA again much more inflated price then Factory FE card...

A bit pricey but excellent thermals and incredible performance. Easy to overclock using the MSI overclocking utility. I installed a water block to this and the thermals were even better.

Excellent, cool card - Locked Power Limit

It's a 3080. Overkill for everything. No problems in any games. I get 90 average fps in Red Dead Redemption 2 with everything set to ultra and max sliders. Even shadow lenghts. It's also pretty cool if you change the fan curve. In the same game I've never gone above 65 degrees and average 61. My one complaint about this specific card is the strange power limit. You can't overclock it at all as the power limit is maxed out at 100% in MSI afterburner and you'd have to flash the v-bios and void your warranty to change it. At this max factory 100% the card can't reach it's full potential as it calls for more power than allowed by the bios. Not a problem upgrading from my old ITX 1070, but this card likely performs worse than other 3080s.

Great card. Been using for a week now. Can run 150-180 FPS on all the highest settings in Warzone easily on my 2K 180Hz monitor. Runs cool between 68-72°C. Love that it came with a support bracket to hold the card from sagging.

It's a 3080! If you can get your hands on it, and are willing to sacrifice RGB, it's worth it. Relatively normal volume. No frills. Works reliably after a couple months of consistent use.

    Meh card, but it's still a 3080

The GPU runs fine, but that's because it's a 3080. The actual size of the GPU was much bigger than what I initially thought, so if you buy this, make sure you have space in your tower. I'm also kind of upset that the LHR version of the MSI RTX 3080 Ventus 3x is $30 more expensive than the non-LHR. You would expect it to be cheaper than the non-LHR. But I'm not surprised MSI would do this based on the high demand for 3080s.

I managed to pick this up a few weeks ago during one of the best buy GPU drops. MSI put an emphasis on keeping this card cool and quiet, and it does just that. I've been maxing out my games at 1440p and 144hz refresh rate and it handles it all with ease. The card comes with a support bracket which is nice as this thing is big. While not the fastest 3080 out there, it's a good quality card that you will be pleased with.

There is a video on YouTube that compares all of the 3080s and this is one of the lowest performing ones. To make matters worse this card costs more than the FE 3080 and is LHR. The only reason I give it 5 stars is because at the end of the day it's still a 3080 and will do everything you need it to if you can get your hands on one.

Absolutely incredible except for one annoying glitch. I'm getting screen flickering, which I never got with my 3070. I've fixed it twice with troubleshooting, but it's come back a week or so after both times.
