    A delightful small powerful machine

I am very pleased with this laptop. This laptop boots up extremely fast. Faster than my phone and iPad. Only using this machine for gaming. Every game I throw at it runs perfectly. Over 60 fps on high settings with ray tracing. I honestly was not impressed when I first got this lovely machine but after a few weeks of owning, I can say I am beyond happy I bought this. The screen is not that good out of the box so I would recommend tweaking it for a better picture. The fans are great, never goes above %70 with the fans on high. So happy about that. The touchpad is a hit or miss. I am a fan of the all white sleek look. The rtx 3070 ti card is well for the games I play and should run future games well. Games I am currently playing on this machine Borderlands 3 Forza 4 Battlefield 2043 Cyberpunk Gotham knights The outer worlds All games run excellent. Can not wait for Diablo 4 and have no doubt this machine will run it well. If you wait a powerful laptop with a great price to match, I would highly recommend. This is my first gaming laptop. Mainly a desktop gamer and no this is not a desktop replacement sadly This is also my first msi product I have purchased and already looking at for another msi gaming laptop. Thank you bestbuy and msi

The best laptop I've ever bought in my life. MSI has proved to be all about quality and best buy got me the best deal! With over 150 hours in Baldurs Gate 3, and several other games - its not just a laptop. Completely replacing my need for a desktop with how powerful this was.

I bought this to use with my VR headset along with the steamVR. It was OK when I used Oculus Meta Quest (Quest 2) pc version. But today I tried usung steamVR with motion tracking via iphone.. not only was it super wonky and unable to connect neither via airlink nor cable linked to it, but it also got me a blue screen… It says “your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We’re just collecting some error info, and then we’ll restart for you.” It has been stuck like that for the past 30minutes already. I will try a replacement but if that gives me trouble, too, then I will have to let it go.. I even bought a nice cooler forthis laptop so this is a huge disappointment— especially when a white gaming laptop is so rare…

This laptop is amazingly fast! I don’t have to wait for anything at all! The battery is not huge, but if you turn off the keyboard lights (Press “FN” and “F8” keys simultaneously), it will cycle through 4 different settings for the keyboard lights (low, medium, high, and off). By doing thi, you can add some considerable time to your battery before having to plug it in to charge again. I also put mine to sleep after 5 minutes of no activity, so the sleep time extends the battery too. All around great pc and I wouldn’t change anything (except maybe the battery) about it!

    Best computer but some issues

I've had this laptop for quite a while. It is mostly solid, runs very well, starts up quickly, puts up with my bad habit of leaving multiple programs running, never sluggish, looks great, types well, speakers are alright, good personalization, easy to use and understand, plays my games with no issue, runs lightroom and photoshop with no issue, runs reaper with no issue, and all of my video streaming is flawless. That being said, the downsides are that the MSI center will be down for a few days at times trying to download an update, my video card quit and gave me a snowy screen at one point and I had to use the tiny reset button on the back, it has gotten stuck in the start-up screen once or twice, the battery life is nonexistent (1 hour), the 10 key is squished to a smaller vertical size, and it runs loud and hot. It would have gotten 5 stars if I never had to restart or reset it due to some issue like the video card quitting or getting stuck in start-up, but those issues are very concerning to me. The price is very good (I got a discount) for what I got. I don't mind the battery life. I just wanted a laptop that could run my games and editing software that was affordable. If that's what you're looking for then this is it, but I definitely suggest being mindful of the issues. I have loved owning this computer and I look forward to using it every day. It is definitely the best computer I have ever owned.

Pros: Lots of power packed into a sleek and clean design. Good display, and powerful components. Runs games easy and no problem at all on ultra settings. Keyboard keys are nice quality. Sound is decent and has 10 key keypad. Special FN keys Cons: IT RUNS HOT. Like, The temps will go 80-90 celsius which is normal however because the way the heat dissipation is on the laptop you can FEEL it. When using WASD keys, it almost too hot to touch (which, if youre gaming on it... well yeah you can see the issue). Also, there is NO battery life. Low brightness, no backlit keyboard, and casually browsing internet? It may last 3 hours or so. If youre gaming? Maybe an hour. This is RIGHT out the box so it will only get worse with time. These two cons are major, however if you do not mind carrying the charger everywhere and it running hot, then its an amazing laptop everywhere else.

Great gaming laptop for the price. It's been able to run any games that I've thrown at it. Nice i7 and a 3070ti. The only thing is that this can run hot, but then the fans will start kicking in once it gets above a certain temp. The problem then the fans run loud. I've set it to where the extra fans don't ramp but but that's because I also have a cooler that I've attached to laptop that blows out cold air towards the keyboard as that is where the heat comes out of. Other than that, everything has been great. I've had multiple 6-8 hour gaming sessions and never had any issues.

This laptop is fantastic! Not a top end gaming laptop ans if it had 32 gb of ram this thing would be a monster for around a thousand. Best bang for the buck laptop. 3070ti. Thats sick! Also, the laptop runs so clean. Meaning there are not all these pre-installed garbage software that bogs your laptop down. I have an insane alienware gaming laptop, this one is less than a third of the price and i ran a few games at max settings. Little heat, nothing majar and not one hiccup!

Really good, I am using it during 2 weeks and it is working perfect. You just need to update all drivers like gpu, windows, after it will be all set. I am playing games and editing 4k videos on adobe premiere and it works perfect. I am really happy with this computer, it is also very fast! I can`t say nothing about the battery because I used it always plugged into the charger.

PROS: Laptop looks good and runs games on highest settings effortlessly. The fan noise while playing is very tolerable. Speakers are good. Keyboards has a nice feel. Relatively light weight. Definitely a lot of power in a small package. Plenty of drive space. CONS: Battery lasts < 3 hrs when using for every day tasks like email and web. While gaming forget it. Keyboard has number pad which is good but non dedicated navigation keys like pgup, pgdn, home, end makes it so you cannot leave the num pad on. Also has a random pipe/backslash key next to space bar on right. While running Minecraft with ray tracing the keyboard and surrounding chassis gets alarmingly hot.

Only downfall is the heat it produces, including the battery. The laptop has a function to increase fan speed so there's at least that.

The sword is a very good laptop for sure. There’s plenty of pros an only a few cons. Pros: very powerful and can run pretty much any game without issue even with the 3070ti being a 105watt GPU. It is very stylish, I love the white with the blue backlit keyboard and the curves of the laptop Cons: It is a cheap feeling material but still a sturdy plastic It gets very hot when running the CPU at about 50%. The temperatures spike to 95 which is within limit but isn’t comfortable to me. The GPU however maxes out at 75. It could be my laptop specifically regarding thermal paste etc Overall I’d give this laptop a 4 out of 5 just for those two cons. If the thermals and material were improved it would be absolutely perfect. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this laptop and use it everyday and I plan to have it for many years

I got this laptop at a $300 discount, but even at full price it is a very good deal. The performance is excellent and it has a nice look to it. The only thing I can complain about is that the cpu can get very spicy and the fans can be very loud. Other than that, I love it.

Good Laptop on the price range. Performance decent. I have found 2 issues with this laptop so far hence 4 star not 5. 1. During Gaming or whenever Graphics card is active, 2nd fan kicks in and it becomes very very loud. 2. My version of the laptop was not having appropriate MSI center installed / Graphics Drivers for 3070 Ti and Driver download also was not working from NVIDIA site. MSI customer care helped me on the same. After that also time to Time I got Error coded by games and kicked out but that's temporary. It worked with the same game fine after relaunching. I guess there still some software incompatibility which I have not figured out yet.
