It's a decent laptop, but wait for a sale.

This thing is a pretty decent laptop. I'm not a gamer anymore so I wasn't concerned about the GPU, an A370M. I was just looking for a laptop with decent specs that wasn't too expensive, I got this on sale for about $600. I own some games that require 1000 series NVIDIA gpu's but I'm not a gamer anymore so I didn't feel like downloading them. But I played a few games so I could review this thing. I was also curious as to how well a low-end gpu like this would work. Mass Effect 3, I couldn't get the origin overlay to work so I have no idea what the frame rates were but it ran smoothly. Fallout 4 on ultra in 720P maintains about 60fps with drops here and there. Dishonored 2 with most things on low runs around 60fps in 1080P. Team Fortress 2 easily runs at 100+ fps. I did not feel like downloading some more demanding games like Hitman 2 2018 because it is a 150GB download. Since I've given up gaming I've downgraded my internet. I don't own any newer games so I can't tell you how it it'll run them, however, It's heaven engine benchmark score on high settings (1080P) without anti-aliasing was 84fps and 2116. Unlike other laptops that I've owned I actually like the keyboard. The ethernet port is on the right side and I occasionally hit the cable with my mouse, if you're a right handed gamer this could be a problem. Battery life is okay for a gaming laptop, about 4 hours.

    Entry Level

This is a great entry level pc for anyone that is getting into pc gaming for the first time and doesn't play a lot of resource demanding games. I was able to play Call of Duty MW2 and Fortnite with little to no issues at medium settings. Having a dedicated graphics card helps this computer a ton. The GTX 1650 allows for you to be able to scale up the graphic quality without losing to much in performance. While the GTX 1650 doesn't allow for maximum visual quality at a medium setting you can maintain performance with out dropping frames. This laptop has a light frame with a mixture of plastic an aluminum, a wonderful red backlit keyboard that has slightly raised keys. Above all this computer is a great buy as a starter pc and could be even better with a few upgrades. Hard Drive and RAM are descent but you will need more to fully enjoy this computer.
